I scored a super rare 2008 Miller Lite Special Edidition Night Rod several years back with only 22 total mi on her. I got a custom set of headers made with a spinning Tailgunner Minigun Exhaust Pipe, Power Commander 5 with a super tune, HD Sundowner much more comfortable saddle and pillion, rear rack w short backrest and 180 sized HD saddle bag kit. What an awesome bike! You could not buy one either...must have won it in the Miller Lite contest and there were only 170 given away in the USA!

I'm not a Harley guy but have to admit that's nice. Yeah that shift light would drive me nuts pretty quick. If it's adjustable I'd have it come on a couple of hundred RPM before the redline. Did you ever see the "Pinks" show where the Paul "Paulywood" Hart ran a V-Rod against a old '83 Suzuki GS-1100E and lost the V-Rod? Good show and pretty good race to be honest.

Bike certainly needs a 6th gear as they are only made with 5. Compare the Vrod with like riding an 883 and then stepping up to a 98ci big twin the acceleration of Vrod over a stock Big Vtwin will make you leave the Vtwin parked. Probably a 45hp upgrade anyways.

And as they are cool, the valve adjustment on them is insane. The bottom of the frame is modular and you must unbolt the rail section so the motor can be dropped out of the bike to allow access to the heads. Yeah you guessed it....Very pricey!!
