Eldorado/Coupe DeVille and Continental/Mark series are top two smoothest, I think. But my all time favorite GP would be the '77 so I'm somewhat partial to the '75. Such a hot body style. Very sharp looking ride you have there!

I owned this car and the 1974 Riv, both with the 455. The Riv was much smoother and quieter, but the GP turned better.

The smoothest riding cars are Lincoln Continental Mark IV 1976 ,!976 Cadllac Fleetwood Talisman. I own both.

Go get you some 107 octane or better ,get more air to your carb, those Pontiac motors require octane. I had a 1970 model J hp. She ran faster at 145 mph like a dream

this has 7.6:1 compression. It will run on anything.

A friend of mine had a 76 that he put a mild 400 in. It would run 145+. It was amazingly stable on the interstate in Tuscaloosa at that speed.

@@davidkeeton6716 yes they seem to be very balanced at higher speeds. I was at 90 the other day and it didn't feel fast at all. In modern traffic it feels just fine. Amazing to be 50 years old and performing like that.
