Finally I fixed the huge Double E 1/8 (1/7) Land Rover Defender D110!...and then broke it again!
Now running an 2 Speed Axial SCX10 II Gearbox, paired to the powerful Holmes Hobbies 550 27T TrailMaster Pro Motor.

I've bought an FTX CANYON TRAIL and found it so big as your ! I need to upgrade the ESC and finally the motor with a 550 brushed motor made for drills (it works really fine) and now is a sufficient Crawler ! Mine has all differential locked, good for crawling, bad for turning !

Yes, locked diffs do give you a little less steering. The Canyon I've heard is not to bad once upgraded.

I've been taking my crawler on my daily walk too . People laugh so much when they see it . Think you hit the nail on the head when you said if you're walking it's kinda ok . Great video mate shame about it breaking again . Looks like it will be going back into hibernation lol.

looking like she wants about 1/2" body lift :) edit: yeah, or a bit smaller tires... nice HH motor there. bummer the axles blew out! (portal axles = body lift right?) just had a fun idea, black tape to cover it in tiger type stripes, just cuz its already orange, could be really cool looking without having to mess with any paint at all... tape and scissors while watching a movie.

Yeah, price has gone up a bit. You can get it cheaper if you choose the [HK] warehouse, but it's a longer wait
