Supposedly more potential role players this draft. Interesting to see how these players develop

Yeah this class gonna make 2000 look like 2003.

L take, this video is purely for content, in reality you need to actually give this draft class a couple of years to decide that, respectfully I refuse to go off of Summer league

Tbh with Risacher if he's Keegan Murray I think Atlanta is ok with that. Obviously you want him to develop into something closer to Jayson Tatum -- who notably has become a two level scorer, mixing threes with straight line drives, despite entering as a Melo-ish iso mid-range guy -- but they just need a good dependable wing. DeAndre Hunter. AJ Griffin. Saddiq Bey. Cam Reddish ... They definitely know what they want/need with Trae.

even making the speculation that this might be the worst draft class of all time is just really silly because they haven't played a single game in the regular season, no way to slice it for this evaluation to make sense
@michaelahurt4 ай бұрын
You can evaluate them as a class though not the outcome. 2024 is definitely right there with 2000 and 2013 if we're just looking at prospect grades. Although matching the futility of the 2000 draft seems unlikely. You need _a lot_ to go wrong for a 2000 class to happen. More likely you'll have a couple guys you don't expect really pop (like 13 with Giannis and Rudy)

The Hawks have enough pieces to take a risk. They just don’t translate to Ws right now. The Wizards needed scoring, and fumbled. I don’t see Rob or Reed meshing well with their teams. Rob is like Kemba Walker, and will thrive when paired with a non-dominant two guard. Reed will need to start to be effective, otherwise he turns into Hinrich.

personally i think that zach is gonna be at least an all star, he is not even close to a bust calling it now, in two years zachs winning the three point contest

I don't know but in France, nobody was convinced when he was 16. I mean he got used to be underrated and he seems to be soft, but he's not.

I have followed Saar for years now. I saw him as a good player. Summer league made me realize that he doesn't fit with nba on the offensive end. Too slow for pick n'roll, his shooting skills are limited, closed to the rim, he will suffer. Are his défensive skills worth a second pick? Even in a really weak draftclass, i don't think so.
@michaelahurt4 ай бұрын
If he becomes Anthony Davis or Jaren Jackson on defense then yes. He can be Nerlens Noel on offense and just stand in the dunker spot. JJJ is a realistic comp. A three level defender, weak rebounder, and more of a slasher and theoretical shooter than a roll man who needs to grow into his body. Although Sarr is probably a better passer at 19 than JJJ was whereas Jaren was ahead as a shooter. Of course if Sarr is Nerlens Noel that wouldn't be surprising either. Almost the whole class is guys with a wide range of outcomes.

@@StainMasters why are you talking about averages for two games? His debut was 9pts 2-13 1/6 3pt 8 rebounds 4 blocks. That’s 50% of his SL right there and funny enough a similar stat line to what sar put up
@nathanielb49854 ай бұрын
@@StainMasters and what’s more is Trae young shot 23% from 3 and donavon Mitchell shot 19% in SL too. People gotta stop using summer league to determine players success or skill. It’s not the same as playing for an actual functional team
