Being a women can suck sometimes: periods, pregnancy pain, getting sexualised as a minor and adult, sexual assault, being weaker and unable to protect yourself when needed. But in all honesty I’m happy with being a women, and wouldn’t want to be a man, life as a man seems worse than a women. (But life varies for all, and a lot more than gender has to be considered in privilege, especially financial.)

Without a doubt, men have physical advantages, but it is an exaggeration to say that just being a man is enough to be able to defend yourself. Not all of us are fighters, and when we happen to be assaulted, we are 100 times more criticized precisely because society expects us to know how to defend ourselves.

Also most cases go unknown because men don't have outlets like us women, and so the guys who do get SA typically commit suicide...

Female privilege is 100% real. I am a 54 year old (my husband and family say very attractive) woman and I absolutely know I have had privileges that my husband and sons were not given over life. It is just a fact not an opinion. We have talked about this many times and neither I nor they are offended by it because they want me safe and taken care of. It is their way of showing me love and I adore them in return and do things to make their lives easier and more comfortable as a thank you. Now this doesn't just happen with the men in my family. Strangers treat me better because I am a woman. Now I am also kind to others so I hope that comes into the equation, but I am not other people and I believe I will always get my tire changed when it goes flat on a highway. Little story.....One time I was riding my motorcycle in our small town and was coming to a stop light and a car came flying up beside me and literally scared me senseless and I dropped my bike. 5 men came flying up to me and helped me pick up my bike and asked me 20x if I was ok. If I were a dude would this happen.....No it would not. I was extremely shaken and so very thankful for every single gentleman that day and made sure I told them that.......and I never even had to tell them I was married. LOL I just rode off into the sunset and wave after saying thank you.

I don’t think pretty privilege really exists, I don’t know never saw it really, though I did grow up in London in a place where everyone is kind, even the ‘mean girls’ are kind. I think people that are insecure make that up to make an excuse for their incompetence, just admit that someone else is better than you, not because of beauty but because they try harder.

Being a women is definitely easier. Absolutely no doubt about it! Nobody would judge us for not getting a job and staying home because that makes us happy, however if a man were to do that it would be socially unacceptable. Also can we talk about makeup for a second. Women are given so many ways to help with their insecurities, but men are not. And the unawareness for men’s mental health is ridiculous. It’s almost like women are the only ones with feelings. Why is it so socially unacceptable for men to have emotions??? I would NEVER change the fact that I’m a woman because it’s clearly easier

Almost all of the examples you provide can be just as easily viewed differently to support the opposite point. Staying at home as a woman is EXPECTED which is why they aren't judged when they want to choose this path. But if they want to become a CEO or engineer? Different story. Women's mental health is viewed differently because "women = hysterical and irrational" was a common mindset less than a hundred years ago. Some people still have that mindset. Since mental health issues are "feminine," a man with depression is akin to a woman, thus, lesser than other men

Sounds like Karen IS the problem, not women!!😂😂 I am a woman, a wife & a mom. I've worked as a car mechanic, a car parts seller & an outside sales rep for the car industry. I've done clerical jobs too... But, women have it SO much easier, even in a male dominated industry. The only things guy's have it easier in, is not having to learn how to do makeup (unless you're a MUA), have periods or babies (and YES, this is ONLY a female thing). 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ok let's talk about the pros and cons of being a female is and see what wins Pros: • Pretty girls get a lot of attention and get what they want off their looks and weaponizes that. • We have boobs • We have lady parts • we can make babies • we can make money off our bodies alone. • we don't have to do physical labor and not get criticism about it. Cons: • being more likely to be physically abused. • Being more likely to be Sexually assaulted. • Being Cat Called • Being more likely to be followed home for human trafficking. • Being more like to be R**ed • Being stared at like we in a window at a mall. • Can't be fat or your more likely to be cheated on. I personally think the Cons get this one because yes we get privileges but we also are more at risk because of those privileges that relates to having the pros to being a con at the same time 😂😂 so no privileges like that are more dangerous then you'd think that's why I'd rather be fat and ugly and be told to lose weight then be more pretty and be at more of the risk of those things for being pretty. There are more cons but we are going off basic knowledge and not a more depth pros and cons because I'm not typing an entire book on here about it 😂
