Another interesting vlog. I’ve never been to one of these gaming conventions, although I’ve been to gardeners world and grand designs and also a place in the sun events, which are a similar idea. Those vintage games took me back and made me feel old as I played them when I was young and when video games were new technology. Stay safe on the boat in the forecast storm, lots of love. xxxx

Hi Amy and Wes. Looks like you had a fun day out even if it wasn’t as big as previous years. I remember playing some of those retro games. I had a Comodore 64 computer in my teens and in order to load games you had a cassette tape with the game on it that took ages! Graphics and gameplay have improved so much over the years 🥰 Take care. The security and stewards should at least have been dressed in Pac-Man Ghost costumes as they chased/ushered you through that 'maze' to enter the event. Agree with the comment below that there needs to be a narrowboat computer game. It could be uniquely British with bizarre twists: the gentle landscapes as narrowboats glide through what later emerge to be shark-infested waters, and roaming gangs of ASBO zombies that descend on the towpath by night. Players collect cups of tea at cafes en route or magical 'potions' at country pubs to help strengthen their boat as the game continues. Collect enough points and your boat can transform into a water dragon when threatened. Collect pets with mysterious, ancient powers along the way and use locks to teleport to other dimensions to complete special tasks before returning to the waterways. It's the game no one knew they needed: "Narrow Escape". World domination awaits... Well, possibly.

It’s not needed anymore, like E3 for example. All new game releases are streamed online. Great vlog. Wes, you should design a narrowboat game where you need to stay away from kids throwing stuff and have to turn in winding holes. Would be quality x
