Did you know that Lebanon was going to participate in Eurovision in 2005, but withdrew because of Israel’s participation?

they were told that they must transmit whole eurovision, including israel song, but lebanese tv is by low not allowed to show any israel broadcasts, so they had to withdraw. the original artwork for esc 2005 in ukraine shows lebanese flag on cover. the promotional single exists, but it's rare.

Hey shawn, is it just me or are this years entries so far a bit lackluster? We were spoiled last year with so many incredible performances and songs. Im having a hard time liking this years entries. The studio versions on Spotify are better than the live performances, but the performances are what matters at ESC. So far my top 5 are Norway, Belgium, Lithuania, Estonia, and France. Im sure that will change, my top 5 changed daily leading up to the finals last year. I would like more official videos instead of just tik toks and shorts, keep it up.

At the end it DID win. But the funny thing is that it only won because of the jury. The people only had it on the third place behind Basim and Jonas Wiberg....I think it is a very good song, but her stage performance needs to be improved if she wanna do well at Eurovision.

yeah, not a winner. so far france, norway and slovenia are way better since they do not sound this generic, and there are like 30ish selections/songs (powerhouses like italy, sweden or uk, australia, finland, poland, greece...and croatia with baby lasagna when he's selected) ahead. there is also bambi thug that will get more public votes. if selected it can maybe reach top 10 with jury votes, but i don't think so. 5,5 just becouse of the voice. song itself is 4 at best. there are like 10 songs that sounds almost the same (becouse they use the same 'formula') on any chart in any moment.
