If you plan on being in Canada for an extended period of time, you should really consider getting an annual pass from Parks Canada. It's not really that expensive, and, it allows you to come and go as you wish in all national parks in the country for the full year. I think you can pay for the annual pass at any national park entry kiosk in the country.

Hey thanks for advice it makes a lot of sense but we did the maths and because we are leaving Canada in a couple of weeks and re entering next year it made sense for us to wait until next year when we will be visiting more National parks 😊

Albertan here, enjoying your videos. My wife and I just completed the first week of our first ever 5-week cross-country vanlife road trip -- Alberta to Nova Scotia, and then back again. Just arrived in Ontario. Looking forward to taking several days to explore the Cabot Trail, along with visiting many other sites. We've previously flown to Nova Scotia, and have seen the beautiful sites of Peggy's Cove, the South Shore, and Lunenburg. We are also spending several days in New Brunswick, where family members will be taking us to the places you visited in your last video. Add someone else mentioned, the camping sites around Lake Superior are amazing! We had a wonderful beach side spot on Lake Huron.

Ontarians here, we plan to do the Cabot Trail sometime soon as well, it looks spectacular. We’re currently in Saskatchewan on a nine week road trip from Southern Ontario to Alberta. I’m not sure how far you’re travelling in Canada but if you travel near the Great Lakes you’ll find many places that will make you feel like you’re still beside the ocean, especially on the north shore of Lake Superior. There are places there that will remind you of Cape Breton. I recommend Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.

Hi there, not sure if you three have made it to Brier Is. Yet, but my wife and I just camped for a night there in our van. We spent the night at Pond Cove Beach area, plenty of spots to pitch up for the night, and no lighthouse to blast you with a fog horn. Take a left of the ferry and a right onto gull rock road. We hiked a beautiful trail called seal cove trail and it didn't disappoint. We saw several large seals right off the shore. Good luck in your travels and hopefully we may see you guys in our travels. We will soon be heading to Ontario.

that's one of the best places to go whale watching. Humpbacks spend their summers in the Bay of Fundy gorging on krill before they leave in late August to head down south to mate.

Glad you're enjoying your trip. But it looks like you missed the Halifax waterfront--it's a must see and you have to go back lol. The number one thing to do on the Bay of Fundy is tidal bore fatting on the Subenacadie River--the best in the world.

Canada is different from Australia in at least one respect. We have few venomous critters. In fact, we have only four species of venomous snakes in Canada, the closest one to your location would be in Southern Ontario and it is non-lethal. The wild life (moose, coyote, lynx, black bears) stay mostly away from people. You would be lucky to SEE anyone of them. Well, maybe a coyote! An 'mported' threat is carried by ticks: Lyme disease. After a walk in the woods, you should check if you (and your dog) have ticks burying in your skin. Google how to deal with those ticks, i.e. how to remove them. I don't know how prevalent they are in Atlantic Canada.
@demieverafter5 ай бұрын
We’re on it with the tick checking 👍🏽 it’s such a big problem in Nova Scotia so we’re being extra careful with the dog and ourselves! I have never been to Australia (I hope to some day) but I imagine there are many more creep crawlers!
@jasminejones73894 ай бұрын
not too bad in Cape Breton.. but in Lunenburg County they are a plague.. avoid the long grass, wear long pants and long sleeves. Ticks are beastly.
