I remember this! Immaculate & a fascinating blend of old & new. The warmth of the ceilings & terracotta floors, sandwiching modern fixtures & furnishings. Beautiful arched doorways, floating staircase etc. Small thing, I loved the way the light cords were arranged on the wall then spanned across the ceiling beams to the lights. Well presented by you as usual. ❤️❤️👍

This property is definitely a fairytale! Very, very nice :) Regarding the video style, I personally liked your old format better. Before, it felt like we were there with you, discovering the property and having you show us around and tell us everything about it. To me, this style feels more scripted and less personal. Maybe that's what others want? You did a fantastic job though.

The house is so grand! The stairs are like a work of art. Every single house I’ve seen in Italy always exposes the underside of the roof tiles in the upper floor ceilings! So, where’s the insulation? If there isn’t any then this place must get awfully hot in summer and it will have massive heat loos in winter.

It’s not all over Italy but typical in some regions like Tuscany to have terracotta ceilings but they’re not the roof tiles at all. They are simply a ceiling like you might have plaster, timber etcetera and then there is a gap (often with insulation) in very old homes maybe not. Then above all that you have the actual roof. That’s why you see terracotta ceilings in kitchens and other rooms on any floor of a house as it’s the tradition. If you don’t like them you paint them or cover them etc. My top floor of my house for example has plastered terracotta ceilings but above that there is an attic space with windows for air circulation and then the roof. I hope that clarifies some things you are seeing. Thank you for watching.
