I’ve been playing my Haldan and Pako deck for cEDH and I love it haha. It’s definitely become my favorite cEDH deck I’ve ever built. I’d love to see one of you guys pilot a version at some point because you basically get to play control and have it be somewhat decent since Pako exiles/draws you usually 1-4 cards on attack

Yea I've learned than if you're going to destroy something on the field and you aren't sure what to hit as there's no massive threat on the table, always hit something from the tymna thrassios deck. It's never unwarranted hate - the deck is just the best, and they do it while looking like they're the same as other decks lol.

I know I'm a month late but if you're following the rules as written then it is technically Cameron's responsibility to remind Dylan that he has the option to get a land from Assassin's Trophy. The same goes for Path to Exile and any card like that. It is quite a new rule but if an effect you control gives any opponent a choice you have to inform them of that choice. Every time. Love the content btw!!

I have been running a turn 2/3 with Wort, Boggart Auntie its Rakdos goblin/combos it has so many ways to combo out for game and all the tutors you could ask for, I just don't have any of the free mana for the deck yet or the deflecting swat / deadly rollick and big weakness is graveyard hate i've been using Bolt Bend and Perpetual Timepiece / Feldons Cane to protect the graveyard.

Now I know this is an old video, but I have a genuine question. And disclaimer: I don't play cEDH, but I always wandered: Why does noone play Geier reach sanitarium? (2, tap: each player draws a card, then discards a card) I know it's shitty and costs 3 mana in total to activate, but mono green decks like yisan have almost no cost of playing this, they can tutor it with crop rotation in response to Thasa's oracle trigger and as long as this is on the field and you have mana opened, noone can win with the oracle combo.

While I do believe thrasios is the best commander in CEDH, there is a problem with the pod too. None of the other decks are capabale of interacting with a turn 2/3 win that well, and while yisan is a well balanced reactive deck, the fact that thrasios is the only blue player means that there is almost no stopping consaltation win, in addition to the fact that thrasios dominates the stack and can simply stop any other player from doing anything relevant (as was made prevelant in the first game)

the question isn't "is thrasios the most broken commander ever made?" but "is Thrasios the most boring commander ever made?" You win the same way every time, so long as Tymna is there to give you black. I assume you could also pull it off with Tevesh Zat as the partnmer or Silas Ren, so long as you have Sultai, you are good.
