19:55 Didn't he had Deflecting swat? he could have used it to change the target of pyroblast to linvala fizzling it. 24:04 he didn't pay for Pact of negation!? he would have 2 mana to cast dockside still, but 5 less artifacts to pay for everything else.. (writing this before you noticed too xD ) At 26:24 you could use deflecting swat to change the copy of dual caster mage to copy deflecting swat itself, making it so that it would fizzle. also as firestorm becomes cast Rielle triggers, so the draws resolve first. good games still, but if you pay attention outcomes can be different ;)

Great job with the video guys! I've literally watched all of your videos and am eager for more. I would say in my games when I have specifically Smothering or Remora (with my friend group) I assume the other players aren't gonna pay for them, so the default is they won't unless they say they will. I typically will ask for Rhystic just cause it is reasonable to pay most of the time.

New to the channel. Have seen lots of great games. You guys have great personalities for this content and have displayed lots of skill (though I don't know why yall miss a lot of Mana Crypt triggers 🤔). My only gripe with cEDH though is that I feel like I see a lot of the same cards and a lot of the same interactions on the stack. But it's useful intel on cards and great insight into cEDH. Had no clue Najeela is a one person army and could go off like that. Pretty awesome

I feel like this video encapsulated CEDH really well. Spoilers: Game 1: Turn 3 win from an infinite combo Game 2: Tax, Stax, Punts, and Counter Wars lead to a pretty long game, where one deck eventually just takes over from value. Game 3: One player gets infinite mana with no payoff, never resolves a payoff, and after a weird counter war that involved no blue spells, loses.

I use firestorm as a finisher in my locust god deck. With Kindred Discovery, naming insect and the locust god out, I can blast the whole table for X damage equal to my library with firestorm. it's so much fun. I wanna make room for Brallin. I got Malcolm, keen eyed navigatoir in there to combo with glint-horn buccaneer, Brallin is just another curiosity piece.

I did not remember the pact of negation trigger; also, I didn't even remember which game it was played in. It's wild that there are so many turn two wins in this format and then some games go to turn ten with hundreds of game actions. Shit's cray.

I know it’s an old video but I’m making Zirda and looking into other list for her/him. Just wondering why more people don’t run a sunforger package for more protecting and reactive play, Boros is incredibly vulnerable to disruption and removal and has a hard time interacting as it is, is there something wrong with a sunforger package that I’m not seeing? I’m making a shimmer, shimmer artifact Zirda deck and would love any advice and help that I can get. Awesome videos and a great channel keep it up guys!

cam imho didn't play thrasios correctly at all since he should have played seedborn muse instead of discarding the card. note that he has a mox diamond, a treasure, and a heath (to fetch a land). he had kinnan in play which says "Whenever you tap a nonland permanent for mana, add one mana of any type that permanent produced." mox diamond would tap for 2 mana, and treasures technically tap also for mana as a part of their activation cost which also would give you 2 mana of any type. cam would have 5 mana to put seedborn muse and thus control the entire game untapping all of his lands and perms while basically activating thrasios on everyone's turn.

All the tutors can find it just as well, but it doesn't go infinite with Zirda.. Overall, I don't think it would be right call because most of the tutors can't find Heliod just as easily if you end up with Triskelion in hand. And it's expensive without infinite mana.

Godo and helm is probably a better combo, since it only takes one red to win off infinite mana. Still got the tutor problem, but at least Godo fetch the other piece. Soulbright Flamekin and Eldrazi Displacer are also creatures that can do some sick things with Zirda and the recruiters. Kiki-jiki is also powerful when you got recruiters and good etb's, but probably not the deck for it.
