Guys - I have made a major mistake at around 8:25 - 8:30! There's now a new update where you can farm items that allow you to unlock traits on any gear, so you no longer need 3x of the base item, making this a much bigger deal that it used to be! Big thanks to Dan over at Kanon's discord for correcting me on this. 🙏🏻

NCsoft already killed Blade and soul with Bots. Their reputation of ingame market manipulation is wellknown. Every expansion will be release right before revenue report to create fomo and cashgrab. I trust casino more than NCsoft. Despite what they are trying to hide their bussiness practice, when the time comes they will strike. Tweaking a few numbers here and there has been exposed in their history book. AGS: releasing another korean grindfest timegated game after Lost Ark.. Nah... Def agree if u wanna give it a shoot. Just be warned. Pull out before its too late.

Absolutely agree - This is why the game is pretty much dead in KR. The Korean players boycotted it because of NCSoft & what you just said. It's the westerners that still play there that keep it alive, believe it or not!

@@ai_baggs I believe u tho. After 25 years of MMO. The experience says: w8 for at least 6 months before sink ur times into it. If the game is still alive and not dropping 90%+ population, its worth give it a go.

Yes you can! It will cost sollant and you will lose any traits/trait unlocks you had on the piece you're sacrificing.

its more akin to pay to skip the grind p2w its not really that bad, unless they make the auction house need premium currency to sell reminds me d3 auction house people level up buy and selling the only problem you can cash out

It truly isn't that bad. The +9 gear cap, the max 4 per trait upgrades cap & also the current top tier (T2 purples) gear only drops from dungeons (BOP gear), makes it almost pointless to swipe, unless you REALLY REALLY want something and you want it NOW. Oh & yeah, you don't need premium currency to sell items on the auction house, just regular gold you get from mobs/quests etc. In fact I think it's a lot more fair than having whales purchasing items/power off of G2G or something else, because the money goes to NCSoft and not some random 3rd party, while at the same time the other F2P players can potentially get the premium currency by selling items themselves. Ofc it's a lot more nuanced than what I'm describing & I'd need an entire video on this to properly explain it, but think of it as "officially contained RMT marketplace".

It's not too much content - it's the SAME content, on a TIME SCHEDULE. Can't be online at 15:00? No world boss for you, it's dead at 15:08. It's basically a treadmill of dailies/events, but it's always the same and it gets boring VERY fast.
