A thought provoking video. My plan at this point is to keep a Porsche EV (Taycan or Panamera) as my daily and then add the 911 for “special” driving.

bad news for the 4-5 year keep calculation though: 2020-2021 models already being sold for €78-79K range, and I see very little difference between RWD & 4S (4S being available at around 80K now). Of course depreciation will decelerate as the age increases, but wih electric the issue of expiry of warranty on battery comes in or 160K km mileage, which is a huge "danger" to potential buyers. So I estimate our cars will drop like a rock after 4-5 years to about 50-60K marker actually

I think so too however, here in Toronto - Porsche has good value on their cars that are leased. I think it will never be less than a Tesla… and that’s okay with me

I haven’t sold it, not planning to at the moment. Maybe when I finish the leasing period, 2026. Nowadays selling a car isn’t a priority because depreciation hits hard on any EV. Keep it until it’s no longer repairable or driveable
