YH, you're so special and so talented. Merging ATC with an special tribute to Kobe Bryant is something I would never think of. Congratulations!

Thank you so much for saying that. I think you were shocked by Kobe's accident because you love basketball. I just thought of this accident from the controller's point of view. Thanks for always watching my work.

Do you intend to speek about IFR rules or radar? Especially APP? If not, am I able to send you some questions about VFR rules?
@atcforyou20204 жыл бұрын
Of course, your passion for air traffic control is always respectable, and any questions are welcome. What I'm saying is flying in VFR at the pilot's request in a weather where VFR is not officially possible.🙂

So the crashed pilot was doing SVFR in a weather condition where he couldn't maintain VFR ,descended to see better and didn't tell the controller about it? If he cant see terrains , and wanted to avoild cloud/fog shouldnt he at least request some radar vectors or something to avoid collision? 'Just descending until we can see something' doesnt sound very professional to me. (Im not the expert tho) well I guess he had a good reason to do so. Rest in piece Kobi & crash victims ;(

Thank you for your comment.👍We agree with you. The accident copter was slightly climbed just before the accident, and then it descended again. The exact cause of the accident is still unknown. This video focuses on what is SVFR, the type of flight chosen by the accident aircraft. We thought it would have been better if the accident aircraft had chosen the IFR rather than the SVFR. This idea made us making this video. Thanks again for watching. Rest in peace for Kobe and the victims of the accident.

@@atcforyou2020 Oh thanks :) I only thought abt that descend' part of the crash forgot he climbed too. I guess pilot tried to climb get a better view but still were in cloud or something. I think it would have been much safer to request IFR too but 'veteran' pilot didnt do that.. I guess only God knows the truth. Anyways thanks for the reply I want to know better why this happened but News channel dont reply to comments and I wanted to hear what an ATC controller thinks about this crash. Now I know danger of Helicopters (due to its ability- going Anywhere) and SVFR can be dangerous in bad weather. rip kobi and keep up the good work and Again, thx for the comment

I think it is very important to think deeply about the accident and share opinions. We really appreciate your comments.

Special VFR is just an excuse to fly VFR in IMC… a deadly excuse…
