In this video I compare the Apple Watch SE (Generation 2) with the whoop band 4.0. I go through a normal day of activity and compare the features to review whether or not it is worth the spend. #fitness #health #tech #youtube #apple

watchos 11 now tracks your naps automatically and can track your "training load" which is essentially the stress thing for Whoop

Interesting review, which I enjoyed. On price, I would say it is good value (if it benefits/enhances your day to day). Apple releases a new watch/phone every 12 -18 months because a large portion of their target audience will upgrade. I wouldn't personally but £229 quid per yr for whoop versus £400 every 12-18 months for a new apple watch make it comparable from a cost perspective. I'd love to see a a long term update once you've had the whoop for a few months to see if your views change. And also an update video on the beard rebirth 😜

Ahh yes I never considered that perspective, I think because I don’t change my watch that often, if this watch is still tracking steps I’ll use it till it claps out, so would expect 5 or so years from it. Yeah I can imagine having the data gets addictive and can easily become part of my routine, let’s see

The whoop unfortunately does not track steps and does often miss out on naps but you can log the nap yourself in the app

Yeah the step thing is annoying. I didn't realise you could log your naps yourself in the app, only thing is logging yourself won't give you the detailed data of deep or light sleep etc. After using it for over a month I find the Whoop picks up the naps retrospectively
