1943 Lincoln Steel Cent Pennies have been replated and repurposed and sometimes this makes them look doubled die or repunched mint marks but they're not. Replated cents are damaged. Google Play Apps play.google.co...

Thank you for this video man! Ironically i was doing an assignment for chemistry and the problem was something like some people were counterfitting coins and plating them or something like that. Anyways it got me thinking about one of my stell cents which is quite shiny. After coming here I think its fake but it's okay bc it was cheap anyways. Very helpful video

Hey Daniel thanks again for another great video on the 1943 Lincoln centsI've been trying to find out more information on the experimental and or off metal errors hard to find any information or anyone talkin about them , especially considering the amount of money they would be worth. I have three beautiful ones different colors they're from the Philadelphia mint I'm not seeing any signs of the replating that I've seen on your videos or anywhere, just wondering if there's a chance you could do a video on them and any other information or thoughts you may have with your experience in the coin world I thank and appreciate you sir

Hey all. I have a question for everyone.... I have 2 1943 steelies that I had them on the table and unknowingly spilled some vinegar. I walked away for a few hours and when I came back & realized not only I spilled vinegar but the vinegar seemed to discolor the coin where it came in contact with it. It's the color of copper. I did the magnet test and a magnet will stick to it... So I'm lost. What's going on here?

Supposed to be the single 'o' or "to" spelling, and not the double 'oo' or 'too' one. Used this way (as 'too') in a sentence, would be the equivalent of the words "also" or "and". Should be like this: "back 'to' the cleaning" and "historical value 'to' me". ☺

No, they're not worth much of anything, the plating makes them look doubled so they're considered damaged.

Hello , a little advice would be great . I have a 1943 P “ steel “ penny , however it looks like a BU red copper penny . It’s in pretty good shape so it’s not dirty . It is attracted to a magnet . It just looks odd that it doesn’t look like yours or any other steel penny I’ve seen before . Thanks
@johnl97914 жыл бұрын
It's probably rusted over.
@richarde97264 жыл бұрын
Nope .. no rust at all . I’d prob rate it as MS60 Red roughly ..

Jokers plated some steel cents with copper. If it's attracted to a magnet, it's steel and not a super rare 43 copper.
