Recently I had to change needle as original needle bent on dry paint in tunnel. The newest needle keeps sliding back into gun, probably smaller needle as nut not holding it in place. It's a cheaper Amazon airbrush I'm using currently.

This happened on my Eclipse when I pulled back on the needle nut to clear a blockage. When it returned forward a little nub in the trigger assembly got caught and prevented the needle from fully seating.

Hi asylum, i’m having an issue with one of my airbrush eclipse, The needle is not fully going through and it’s only sticks out a little bit but paint still doesn’t go through even if I press down, I still need to pull back on the trigger for paint to flow but is there anyway I can fix it and make the needle stick out normally

I love this channel. I'd like to know if you have any advice for an older Iwata Eclipse CS gravity feed model. The trigger loves getting sticky, I have rebuilt the entire trigger assembly with new parts and it still loves to stick. I'm using Hoppes#9 to lube it. The iwata lube is terrible gunk.

@@AirbrushAsylum You nailed it. I ordered a new nozzle and needle because that had to be it, since I thought they were clean. As an afterthought I soaked them in 4008 Restorer. I can't believe all the little pieces that came out! Voila, problem fixed. Thank you so much!

As soon as I turn my compressor on, air starts shooting out of my airbrush. I don't even have to push the trigger at all. This is very annoying and it's impossible to paint like this. I have taken my airbrush apart several times, inspected it, cleaned it and still, air comes out. I am at my wit's end.

@@AirbrushAsylum This fixed the problem! Thank you!! I removed the parts, cleaned them well and even though the trigger still sticks a bit at least I'm able to stop the air flow. I still don't know why it sticks. I'm guessing because it's a cheap airbrush.
