Amazing. It took me too long to find this video and only slowly understood the problem was using white and not an issue with my air brush. Very concise explanations too

Again essential knowledge for ANY airbrusher. White is a total pig for the uninitiated. Personally I hate it and I use it on just about every model I make in zenithal highlighting. Listen ye, to the wise words of our antipodean brethren, for he speaks truth! 😂awesome vid chief. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🇬🇧

Thank you so much glad you enjoyed it and totally agree, white is always annoying to use but unfortunately unless you are using a scratch back method on synthetic paper to create your highlights, it’s almost always needed 👍🏻🤦

I wish I'd seen this one yesterday, the white I was using on a painting yesterday was giving me nothing but problems.. and I think boils down to I should have strained the paint.. even after cleaning the brush and popping same paint into cup.. It'd go from not spraying the splattering.. frustrated me for the whole time. I'll go back and fix my splatters and blobs today.. with strained Paint. and stop being too lazy to take the extra step, for good results ;) Thanks for the Excellent advise and Tips!

My friend and I were painting a 40K Imperial knight the other day and we used my airbrush to paint the white... Going over and over and over we got such a bright white and yes still learning to control I got a couple of those pooling a but when I did the extra layers I managed to cover it.

For a paint strainer you can use a Flare Nut with a tobacco pipe filter (Scott MacKay tip) works well and is reusable I believe a 1/2" filter fits the 3/4" Flare nut

Fantastic tip , thanks for sharing Scott MacKay definitely has plenty of great tips to share , anyone interested should check his live streams youtube.com/@ThinAirGraFx 👍🏻

Thank you for yet another informative and helpful video! Couple questions, #1 are there any advantages/ disadvantages between shaking or stirring reducer into paint , and #2 do you strain the paint directly from the bottle prior to adding reducer, after adding reducer, or are both methods indifferent? (I use createx wicked colors if that matters) Thanks again !

Hi ,i have found new Iwata revolution cr japan HJ(0.5 nozzle) in our country. And its price is half of a new iwata neo in our contry. I dont have much money,please guide me. Is it good to buy??
@AirbrushAsylum Жыл бұрын
I definitely think the revolution is a great option, you can also now get it in a 0.3mm which in my opinion would be a better option but either way the revolution is a great quality airbrush for the price 👍🏻

Thank you for what you do on your channel teaching us all how to do all things airbrush. I painted a guitar I built for a competition using Nason white and Nason Jake Blue using only a .5 Master airbrush out side on my balcony over the course of a few weeks to get it perfect. I wouldn't call it art but I do think it turned out awesome. The whole process is on my channel if you want to see if what I learned from you so far has produced good results.

That's funny when you said don't get disheartened if your a beginner. I'm struggling to get detail, and I've been at it for a couple of decades.😉 See I had health issues that caused me to stop using solvent based paints like House Of Color. Water based paint is a whole other ball game. I found that a couple drops of glycerin makes a world of difference where tip dry is concerned.

Hello mate I have a question, can iwata airbrushes be cleaned with acetone? And the Mr Hobby creos can also be cleaned with acetone? Thank you All the best
@AirbrushAsylum Жыл бұрын
I would prefer that you use gunwash at the absolute max as acetone may be a little too aggressive , the Iwata’s and Creos both run Teflon seals but you should be able to clean everything automotive with gunwash . Best would be to stick with Waterbased paints if you can then you only need to clean up with water and your airbrush will love you for it 😉
