I see a lot about breast feeding in your videos. As a new mama due later this year, i am interested in forulma feeding. Can you make a video on Formula feeding and which formula you suggest most?? Love your content ^.^

Watching your content reignites my idea of becoming a midwife, but when I was accepted into the conversion course, RN to Midwife, they asked for $18k 😢 think I'll ask my workplace if they can support my conversion in hospital instead.

Oh that’s a good idea! Sadly where I live there’s no RN to midwife program it’s a straight new 4 year program!

@@mamanursetina yes, same. A whole new degree, unless I did masters in midwifery which is 1.5 years, but they rejected me for that -_-

My OB has been doing these since 36 weeks, and only these in my weekly checkups. Tomorrow will be my 3rd one. I wish we could go back to ultrasounds...

Ok I have had quite a few of these and it never matters if baby moves a ton during that time, it takes at least 45 mins! They take forever.

In my country (Europe) it is normal to have them on every checkup in hospital, in my case, I have prolonged that.... It is 1.5 hours minimal..... I had normal and prolonged every time I had check-up

I was just told today i need to do weekly nst. They said it's because i have gestational diabetes and my baby is getting big 😅

That tracks. How many weeks are you??

I'm 38 weeks and they started doing this at every appointment starting at 36 weeks. I thought it was just something they did later in pregnancy?
@mamanursetina7 ай бұрын
Not necessarily. I imagine all practices are different. Where I am they only do it if they need to increase monitoring or something different is heard at a prenatal.

I went in for a check up and ended up needing an NST for low heart rate. Turns out I was having contractions and didn’t even know it! I’m 39 weeks now any idea what that means? I didn’t think to ask my OB

Polyhydramnios?? I have a large baby and a lot of extra fluid. She likes to start labor then just back off and I was told his could be because she has the extra room to disengage. Help? Thank you!
@mamanursetina7 ай бұрын
Can be tricky because contractions are brought on by oxytocin which causes baby to be contracted onto the cervix which causes more oxytocin to be released etc. if baby is floating and not applying themselves well onto the cervix it might makes labor patterns less optimal BIT not always.

On the thumb nail of this video I seriously thought it said Taco in stead of toco. I was ready to demand a reason as to why I didn't get fed Tacos during all the NSTs I did in the third trimester..... I wouldn't have been the weirdest or the dumbest question I asked my provider during my pregnancy.

My baby is big, at 36 weeks growth scan they said she was already measuring 8lbs 1oz, I’m 37 weeks and 2 days and they are having me do an NST 2 times per week. They found protein in ny urine but blood pressure is normal. They haven’t said anything about my pregnancy being complicated but it’s sounding complicated? Is this normal?
@mamanursetina7 ай бұрын
Big baby isn’t really a diagnosable thing until birth, you can just say x y and z point towards the fact this baby very likely is large for their gestational age. NST are great for you with that protein in your urine, make sure you pay attention to any signs of preeclampsia! And you can always ask your doctor more questions - like if this pregnancy isn’t complicated why am I getting NST done twice a week? Questions for your provider about your own specifics are your best laid plan ♥️
