Great job and video, we had to do this on a van and the build-up was over an inch in some places so it meant having to painstakingly chip away at it, vacuum the bits and then once it was clean enough we used Mr Muscle oven cleaner and that worked great and you're right some sprays don't do much that's something I also discovered. The leak off pipe also broke like yours I think it's because of all the build up and heat etc and the sealing washers were just as bad.

I thought you was going to do some crazy aliexpress rubbish to decrease the value of the car even more and turns out was wrong 🤣 bloody diesel, thank god I have the very reliable petrol engine 🙂
