i definitely think Ghost was the correct next choice! Often overlooked, but there are mothers galore! Im glad that Yamask got their flowers! However, for Cofagrigus (and gholdengo and Marshadow) often get overlooked for their high camp! Like they may not seem girlypop coded at first but theyre just so funny when you really think about them that like the aesthetic isnt all the way there but they are def girlypop at heart 💕

I would love to see a new tier added named something along the lines of "Honorable Mentions" Cause I do feel like a lot of Pokemon in general while perhaps not girlypop themselves, they paved the way for other Pokemon. One of the major ones I would put in this gategory is the Gengar line. On a separate note I keep having to remind myself this is the (specifically) girlypop tier list. It’s giving bring on male Jellecient as the Gardevoir’s older steward who’s always on her about her safety and what she means for her queendom. Giving you Toadsworth. Then I’m thinking our girl Mismagius as Gardevoir’s best friend/retainer who brings out Gardevoir’s more playful side. It’s giving me Impa but like Age of Calamity Impa and Princess Daisy together in my mind. Ima keep thinking about the other 2 i would add on but i loved this concept. Ceruledge is so mother to me because she gives mysterious, goth, strong girlie who can and will step on anyone who threatens her besties. Looks mean but will step up for fellow girlies kinda vibe (Also made a character with a ceruledge, chandelure, mismagious and litwick team i adore so im biased LOL) But i'm really yapping cause the real stuff that changed my brain chemistry was a meme saying "every girl has to suffer from the internal battle between my ideal weapon is a pair of daggers and my ideal weapon is a colossal hammer" with pictures of ceruledge and tinkaron on it and i physically can't get that out of my head and i am so sorry Lunala I see as mother for some of the same reasons as the other comment girlies so representing the moon, being the female evolution of cosmog, etc but also because i think she's a very motherly figure to Alola, specially in the anime She gives mother of the night and the femininity to contrast solgaleo's masculinity Possessed "lunala" on the other hand is a MASSIVE SKIP bc i see necrozma as that one guy who loves to suck the happiness out of people, SPECIALLY women for his own benefit and him taking advantage of mother lunala feels like the biggest represention of that TLDR: in my opinion ceruledge and lunala are mothers, necrozma is that one toxic guy you met at a school party once

Okay, others criticize the ranking of Lunala, but I do get it, and here’s why: Lunala is mother 100% no question, HOWEVER, she’s not a girlypop mother. She fits more along the side of a sleek, elegant, royal, ethereal kind of aesthetic. She’s the kinda Pokémon Bayonetta would use, but not Aerith or Juliet Starling. Lunala gives more womanly than girly, more queen than princess. I can’t tell if that makes sense or not, but that’s my two cents on it.
