I have the LG UltraGear and it is so good for the price, i switched from ps4 to pc and this monitor was my first one and I love it. The difference is humongous and my gameplay skyrocketed, would definitely recommend.

monitors aren’t always about FPS it’s about the type of panel you have too I had a ultragear and it doesn’t have a ips panel which is the best and should be used I returned mine within the first week. The only thing about this is that it’s cheap cause of the panel invest 30 pound more for a better panel and you won’t regret it

Thank You for making this video my friends play on PCs with good FPS and graphics and I play on ps4 with 60fps and a tv in our bonus room that is not meant for gaming. They don’t see what I see and think I’m just making excuses when I say there gun and builds always build and shoot first. Or when I can’t see them very well and I’m oblivious. I got a 27 inch Acer 165 Hz 1MS free sync Monitor a few months ago and it has been amazing. slowly building my setup. went from an Xbox One to a pc which is not too bad for what I paid it holds 140-165 FPS reasonably consistently. Need to make the switch to keyboard and mouse just finding it hard to find good binds etc.

Also something to note is that having 1 ms response time on a monitor minimizes ghosting and motion blur it’s not just the response time of the monitor, and 1ms motion blur reduction should be in monitor settings.

Good video but there are some mistakes. For one you should have mentioned that almost none of those budget monitors actually come with DisplayPort/ HDMI 2.1 cables, you should get those yourself. Also, the Alienware 240hz has 2 versions. The AW2518H and the HF. Always get the HF, the only difference is that the HF is not GSync branded (although it still works on it) and the HF usually runs for $200 cheaper when its in stock. I got my AW2518HF for only $280. Also, practically any monitor that has a 1≥ ms response time, TN/IPS panel, and is below 25 inches will probably be a good monitor at the given refresh rate you need.

If you really hate motion blur you should get the benq zowie XL2546k as it has a filter called dyac which greatly reduces motion blur which is why in csgo and valorant lots of pros use it

The upgrade from 144 to 240 was barely noticeable but it made me so much better. I’ve tried out my friends 360hz monitor a few times. I think the motion blur on the 360hz is too much for my eyes. I think 240hz is the best.

Aussie, the 584 dollar Alienware monitor is the 1440p version. The 1080p model on Alienware US is 419.99 for both the 27 and 25 inch. And the dark grey 25 inch is 390. Though I would recommend not buying the Alienware monitor just yet as it usually goes on sale.

I am someone who switched from 144hz to 240hz and let me give my opinion on it. The only reason I switched was bc my 144hz monitor broke and to fix it wouldn’t be worth it for how much I bought it for. There is definitely a difference in input delay between the 2 but actual the “smoothness” of the displays are very similar and I can not tell a difference. I would only recommend 240hz if you have a pc that can get 240fps most of the time or else you will literally not see a difference.

Hey aussie I have a tiny little question about fncs . I am a middle east player and in fncs qualifier 1s session number 2 I was going to play it but it was locked for me . do u have any clue why its locked i was in a party with a different team than the first qualifier and i think its because of that that i couldnt play it but my friends are telling its because i didnt come top 700 teams . I dont really understand the format well so thats why im asking u . I thought that all the four sessions of qualifier 1 were all open for me and that I had 4 chances to get top 700 and then play the second qualifer which is there after a few weeks . Yo I’m on a ryzen 7 3700x and Radeon 5700xt and 16 gig of ram and my frames in endgame is 70 FPS and in arena and creative I can get 200 flat or even 240 flat but once I get in a fight it drops to 90 FPS in a regular fight in arena why is that I really need to find out

These monitors are really good if you are going straight for competitive advantage. If you are able to afford abit more I would get a 144hz with a 1440p resolution, your still getting the high refresh rate but the extra resolution will make your other games look ALOT better. (This obviously applies to people who can display 1440p)
