I’m glad I found your channel. My grandad was in the woods all his life. On my father’s birth certificate his job title just said “pulp wood”. He passed away in august. actually today would be his 91st brithday. The family got together and cleaned out his house. I was the only one to go in his storage building. In there I found treasure. A stihl 041av. I took it home and set in my shop. The saw belonged to my dad and my grandad bought it from him at a yard sale. I live in Virginia. I felt a strong calling when hurricane Helene hit North Carolina to find a way to try and help. I was able to load up with two friends and go cut some trees for some folks in spruce pine nc and poga tenn area. It was unbelievable in so many ways. We cut wood for a few days and had to come home. I hadn’t cut wood in a long time. But it sparked something. I hadn’t seen your channel either. When I got home on the floor of my shop sat my grandads saw. I started to tear it apart and ordered everything it needed to be useful again. I had to fight back tears but couldn’t keep the smile off my face when that saw fired and I cracked on it. In the weeks it took to round out all the parts to fix it I would be watching your videos and learning. Your message is a good one. Work hard be honest and be kind. Thanks and keep it up.

To me, 38, your word is the only real thing of value when it comes to evaluating people. Either you are reliable or not. Not all unreliable people are necessarily bad people, but I don't want unrealiable and chaotic friends and collegues at work. I want people I can trust and rely on for both of those. If I say one thing to someone, I either A mean it, however blunt it may be, good or bad. But when I say something I also always go through with it and do it. It doesn't matter, my word is my bond, for anyone. Not just friends or family. Now, I don't really go about giving my word to many people that aren't my friends or family, but if I would, it would be the same as for anyone else. This makes life easier in the long run.
