Love this and love how you are creating your new content. The confidence getting out there talking on camera with people watching lol 😄. Thanks!!!

So glad you pointed that out! I don't think I would have had the confidence to do an outdoor shoot a few years ago! But it was so much fun now that I'm in this new energy 💜

My first block was the gear, watched many videos and wasted a lot of time thinking once I get all the right stuff then I can make the channel work. Then I became overwhelmed and spent the next 5 months trying to figure out how it all worked. I should have recorded that journey and made it my first niche. How not to start or really never start your KZbin Channel. Once I took your advice, picked my niche, focused, then the few things I needed to learn to so I could record, edit, upload made sense. My next step is batch recording, having an inventory of videos, sweet. No more stress getting it done weekly. Question: your like, subscribe, and notification bell lower third, is that in Camtasia? Reveal your secret, I love it.
@SalmaJafri Жыл бұрын
Hi Charlie, the snazzy lower thirds are from Mixkit. Check them out, I also have a video about them on my channel, just search for "mixkit" to find them. They also have a lot of cool transitions, stock and more. And I hear you about the gear block - it's a very common issue. Glad you were able to push past it. Batch recording is the best though 😎

I've definitely been in the stop start mode for awhile. Mostly because full-time job vs youTube as a side hustle and trying to have energy for both. Finally decided to go all in with KZbin and have been consistently posting in 2022 -23.

That's amazing! You get from it what you put in it. And if you treat it like a business, you earn from it :)

Hiiii.... Can you do a video showing your earnings please and how it varies with different factors such as number of uploads and length of videos please. And give us some tips too.
@SalmaJafri Жыл бұрын
Yes, that one is in my ideas list. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think your videos are both inspirational and educating, I would love to se channel reviews or your thoughts about channels to help them forward, coming from a creator that feels stuck😅 maybe you already do? Thanks for great content🌸
@SalmaJafri Жыл бұрын
Those are some great suggestions. Channel reviews have always been popular when I've done them live - might revive that! Thanks 😊

Salma, I have been a follower for more than two years or maybe even 3 years. I have no hesitation in saying that every single video is as good as one of the best in business. Just one thing puzzles me a lot. Your following has not risen as much as some of the other channels I see. Is that common for channels like yours? I am genuinely curious to understand. I have a channel myself which has been very small forever now. But I have not been very consistent among many other reasons. Your channel, the presentation and the content is comparable to some of the best and yet not in 100k subs for inexplicable reasons. Does that bother?
@SalmaJafri Жыл бұрын
Thank you for being a loyal viewer! I've covered some of rhe reasons for the slow growth the past 2 years quite extensively in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGK5dqWFpbuVm7c and most of them are due to me not being consistent enough on the platform + changes on the platform, especially in the last 2 years. And I take full responsibility for that. But at the risk of sounding boastful, reaching 100k is not my primary goal. I know it'll happen eventually but I don't chase it. I also know exactly the kind of videos I need to make to get to 100k fast, and I'm just not going to make those videos because that's not me. I prefer staying true to myself, choosing topics I actually want to talk about, and attracting my ideal viewers to the channel. KZbin for me, is not a popularity contest. I dont want to look successful (by reaching some arbitrary number) but actually be successful by growing my business and making a difference. Hope this clarifies things a bit. I'm happy to reach subscriber metrics, of course, just not at the cost of my sanity or integrity.
@almabradford Жыл бұрын
@@SalmaJafri I agree with you Salma. I believe that quality is more important than having a lot of subscribers. In fact the subscriber count is kind of a vanity metric. Thanks for creating in depth videos for us to help business owners really grow in a sustainable way.

Nice video ... But your KZbin channel has some problem. Solving these problems may help your channel grow faster.
@SalmaJafri Жыл бұрын
Thanks - not everyone wants to grow faster. That's never been my goal.
