Thank you, Salma, for this informative video. I've continued following your YT content and emails over the past year or two. I've followed your advice in terms of implementing Call To Actions and Lead Magnets using both YT and Convertkit as my platforms (thanks to you!). I'm aware my next step is to ask for the paid call... And that is probably where I start to get uncomfortable. Why would any teacher pay for a call with me to obtain further help implementing my science lessons when teachers are not known for their highly paid salaries? I am also not the type of teacher who asks for $$$ for my lesson materials. In other words, I do not use the platform Teachers Pay Teachers. I am going to assume I'm not the only person uncomfortable with this next step. Just thought I'd share my thoughts here. Thank you for all the work you do for small channels!

Hi Astrid, I loved that you shared what part was making you uncomfortable! You're definitely not alone. The first time I offered a paid something, I literally couldn't sleep and got super anxious thinking what I was doing, and people would be furious with me and so on. It's perfectly natural to feel a bit uncomfortable with something that's out of your comfort zone. But then again, if we want to grow and learn, that's exactly what we need to do! I know it's hard, but think of the value you could provide someone who's just starting out. All the years of experience you could share with them! Eventually, they won't only pay you for the help, but thank you for it !
