IS300 Dashboard Flocked & Painted!

Painted and Flocked my IS300 Dashboard. Also installed a Aux Adapter. Total time taking the dash board out, cleaning and installing new dashboard was around 4 hours. Respect the process!

I'm so sick of our dash melting. I hit it with some acetone and it took a bunch of the stickyness off, but I need to sand and paint. This seems to affect all IS300 cars from this generation.

how hard or easy is it to pull out the dash and put it back also what did you use for reference/guide or somethin like that?

It’s not hard. Just time consuming. Watch some other KZbin videos for the removal and take your time

What was the process of sanding the dash? I'm looking to do one I pulled from a junkyard and I'm unsure as to what grit to use and even where if I need to leave any texture.

I wet sanded with 2 and 3 thousand grit and then sprayed with 2x flat black paint and sealer.

@@Garrett. I used a couple pieces because it does start to deteriorate the sand paper but it worked just fine

I vacuum it and I have a lint roller that I keep in the car. I’m pretty ocd about the cleanliness of my car and it hasn’t bothered me at all
