@@Minervastouch it's always the aide characters. Like Uncle Ben saving Peter and setting him upon just path. The one true act of kindness in this show that still baffles me the most is Saint Germain saving Treffy. That was so uncharacteristic from his entire persona and nothing up to that point ever guided him to do such a thing.

@@Minervastouch People harp on about Isaac being the "best" character when he#s honestly not. He's flawed. Very flawed. Peole only relate to him because they themselves are flawed and struggling. Flawed enough to not know hate enough like Dracula yet, yet not flawed enough to understand why the most depraved can be intimate and loving. The captain. He asks the right questions. What are your choices? What are you goals? What will you do? What CAN you do? He's challenging Isaac. Pushing him to think. To see the bigger picture. Then Isaac did the same with his own demons. The Captain isn't trying to be a hero. He's giving you a choice. The captain doesn't look down on you. He understands the worst to that extent that he's done with that. For a character with so little screen time, he speaks volumes.

Really nicely done. Isaac is one of my favorite characters, the way he evolved and the characters around him was beautiful. The conversation between him and fly demon from hell was one of my favorite moments. So profound. And his loyalty to Dracula and their friendship also......simply amazing. This video did well to capture some of that.

Issac was a character I wasn't expecting to be rooting for when the show first started. But when he killed Godbrand (I think it was) he started to change. The seeds for his evolution were planted. I believe he still remains a friend of Dracula, but now he has evolved into an interesting human being I wouldn't mind having a chat with over a cup of tea. You did great in depicting his evolution from blind follower to seeing ruler.

Honestly, netflix's Castlevania was so well written and cast that you can argue anyone was the best character. In my opinion the best written characters are Trevor, Alucard, Dracula, Issac, and Lenore, they are all characters that change dramatically throughout the story and at the end of their journey they feel like they could be a main character. Sypha, Carmilla, and the other named vampires are great characters but they cannot carry the story like the others because they don't really change or grow over the story.

From a man who saw the worst of humans nearly everyday as a child, a man who never thought about his future, but he changed with help, and properly looking at himself as the question "What then?" Lingered in his mind, until finally he knew what to do, He wanted to live his own life.

Trever had a history of expectations, orphanhood since 13, depression out of loneliness and despair. Adrian "Alucard" Tepes had to be moral compass to a suicidal father while for his mother himself at tender age of 17-18-19; not to mention being scarred by his own father. when it comes to Isaac, he had a much rougher start but much more tender neutrality compared to the other two. his evolution was not growing out of despair like Trever or learning to move on like Alucard but rather it was to grow up and learn to love himself. frankly, he's still my fourth favorite character of the series after Trever, Syfa and Alucard but as somebody who's gone on the same path as him and still visits a therapist, i understand him more. thanks for the good work. keep it up. wish you well

Isaac was able to unlearn and relearn great swaths of things at once instead of needing to pick apart the nuances of what was good and what was bad about his experiences. At least for most things.

Does anyone find it ironic that Dracula who wanted to kill all humans last act of kindness is what could've possibly saved human beings from both vampires and themselves.

I think its more ironic was the fact that the only people who he really trusted (Isaac) and had a bond with and loved (Lisa and Alucard) were all human, one half-human, Dracula didn't even had vampire friends, they were all simply his followers but nothing else.

That I’m going to live is so powerful, he was becoming Dracula at first, seeking vengeance for those who killed someone he cared for, the mission would be a suicide at first, he wasn’t planning anything after getting vengeance, but he found meaning and found that with all the knowledge Dracula gave him and traveling as man does, slowly, he gained life

It's really a shame because Dracula could have been this. His logic is circuitous and all it would have taken is ONE GUY to snap him out of it in this one moment Dracula: Any one of them could have stood up and said no. We won't behave like animals anymore! That one guy: So BE that one person, dammit! Are we really going to slaughter the innocent just like THEY do?! What could the world be if a man of your talents stood up and decided to remake it for the better? What if you could be the person that makes sure no one else ever feels this pain, ever loses their wife because of some punk priest that wants to play God?! Think about it...
