Yeah those idiots will probably point out that Issac Butterfield has no expertise in this field and that his only connection to this issue is the fact that he benefits from a separate corrupt social medium. those morons could also complain about the fact that the only evidence provided by this video possibly describing the ill effects of tik tok is a quote stating that since covid more people have been "faking" Tourettes. luckily Issac doesn't have anything to gain from tik tok being banned as now that he is banned from it he wouldn't possibly be losing possible subscribers and sponsors to an app that he can no longer access hell these idiots might even point out that his fans shouldn't solely trust the first perspective they see like what they are complaining about tik tok for. honestly wouldn't be me

It´s deniable because it´s clickbait bullshit, it´s nothing new, China is not interested in spreading any messages, they jsut wanna peddle their shit products and get your data to peddle even more. Almost none of what this guy says here is even true. I am all for shitting on predatory services and China in general (politically) but this is just dumb. Services like this are nothing new, this is a boomer take, it´s like he doesn´t even know what happened in the rest of the world in the last 20 years or so, and he´s got no excuse just because Australia is an Island... TikTok is not worse or better than Vine, and China doesn´t steal more or less data than other countries, they just don´t give a fuck if anyone finds out. And don´t give a fuck what you think about it.

I pray to God that my daughter doesn't end up with it bc what people don't understand is that's its not just embarrassing, but it's painful, especially if you have a more aggressive form. It's harder to drive, it's harder to hold my own fucking daughter sometimes while feeding her. And he's right. I downloaded tik tok when it first came out and ended up deleting it less than a week later. Within the first day I was spending upwards of 4-5+ hours on the app every day. On the worst day it was 8 hours. I quickly realized I’m not going to be able to limit myself so I cut it out completely. Soon after I found out about all of the security issues, I remember hearing that the app saves everything you write down even if you don’t post or send the message it just saved as you typed. All of that is fucking terrifying, I’ve tried explaining this to my brother and other friends and I always just get the same reaction. People seem to think it’s not a big deal to have your privacy completely intruded, to have everything about you copied down and saved forever. They seem to think since it happens to billions of people then their information will just get lost in the ocean of it all. They seem to forget the fact that if you ever upset the wrong person then they have all of that information on you to use against you in whatever way they want. It’s absurd how people are just fine with it

I’ll preface by saying this: I disliked TikTok from the start, and all i see of it is reuploaded content to KZbin. I was diagnosed with ASD when I was 12, and then ADD and Generalised Anxiety Disorder a couple years later. I am now 17. From what I’ve read, the disorders I suffer are sorely misrepresented or straight up faked, and it hurts to see my generation be so mentally fucked in the head as to fake this stuff for views and likes. I have a diagnosis of BPD and the stigma around that and misinformation is huge, people taking things that aren’t true as fact about the disorder which is so heart wrenching. When TikTok first came out, I just thought of it as the more annoying version of Instagram. And then people became addicted and, looking in from the outside as I have been (I only use discord and twitter), it appeared that TikTok started becoming so ingrained in people's lives that they mentioned it in conversation at least three or four times a day. Lots of people around me talked frequently about the videos they were going to make, or the latest TikTok trend that no one remembers three days later. I found it so strange because I haven't seen the people around me becoming so obsessed about other apps. It was like some kind of dystopian mind control thing or something. It really creeps me out.

TikTok has always rubbed me the wrong way, I've never really understood exactly why, as a 21 year old, why a lot of my peers were so crazy about it. So I've downloaded it, and yeah, it's interesting, I can see why people like it so much as it can cultivate a lot of creativity. But yeah, the fact that TikTok is a Chinese app, and all private companies in China legally have to comply with any CCP order, including data collection, is terrifying. People should stop using this app, as it's supporting an oppressive, controlling, disgusting government. And it's not the end of the world either, Instagram has Reels, KZbin has shorts.

I'm confused as to why it is so "terrifying"? When literally every single app takes, stores and sells your data... You people have been so brainwashed into being scared of China, it has allowed your industrial military complex to go out of control. What is so scary about China? They have no historical track record of invading other countries, they have zero interest in wars with other countries... I've lived here 20 years, and all China cares about is economic growth and prosperity, those are their goals, that's it.

@@gulaggreens296 When you have to work to make a living but can't because you can't reach the expectations of a normal functioning adult, it certainly does not feel like a superpower. It really depends how the autism affects each individual. I have no friends and that's exactly how I like it because I can't deal with people, which makes life difficult when I am forced to be social (amongst other sensory issues and general overwhelm). That's not to say you're wrong, but it really depends on the individual and how their autism manifests. It may not help that I am in my 30s and have only recently been diagnosed with both. I guess it's difficult to master something when you don't even know it exists.

As someone who has been diagnosed with autism and adhd at the age of 9. I see people faking it as a complete insult, until that point I'd pushed away all of my friends with my random outbursts of anger and the adults around me, even my own grandparents just thought I was a badly behaved child who's parents weren't disciplining correctly. The amount of pain and sadness I've had to go through because of them, my inability to fit in and make friends because I didn't understand social queues and couldn't read body language. My earlier life was absolute misery because I had something I have no control over and on tiktok there are people farming sympathy because of their self diagnosis. Sympathy, only for having the condition. Where's all that sympathy for the people who have suffered from it? Not only verbal, but physical too. I had to transfer schools twice because of how badly I was being bullied where at one point I'd be getting into fights every day just for being the 'weird' kid. Today I have much better control over myself and can somewhat read a social situation. I get that wasn't the point of the video but it struck a nerve when I remembered that people were still faking adhd for tiktok.

I, as one of the said targets for TikTok, have never installed it and have actually begun to remove social media from my life. I’ve removed KZbin from my phone so it doesn’t take up my time when I don’t need it to. If you have been considering doing something similar with another social media app I’d say go for it I have much more free, productive time than I’ve had in a long time. The small dope rush that you get from seeing something that you like or hate is not worth loosing the massive dope rush from working out of going out to see friends or even finishing homework or looking something up that your interested in or starting a new hobby. It’s all more worth it Atleast to me. To those of you willing to make the change I urge you to do so and fill the gap with lots of things that will build character and you as a person. Hey Isaac, I'm a Canadian living in China. I actually use douyin (pronounced "doe yeen") and although what you said isn't false, the vast majority of people using it is similar to how foreign countries outside China use it. (However, a little less sexually explicit). I've lived in China for quite a while now, and over these past 3 years, China has taken a nose dive in terms of perceived "freedom" and trust. Honestly, I've come to detest a lot of what China has become now, and things like the spying through tiktok and the social credit score sickens me to my core.. something that I've been seeing though is giving me a glimmer of hope for the people here, more protests have been happeninG and it's making me feel very proud for the Chinese people, however, they get squashed so easily by the government and police... I just hope that he people of China wake up and realise that this isn't a life that people were born into this world were meant to live, and I hope that everything gets better for everyone.

The Great Chinese Famine (Chinese: 三年大饥荒; lit. 'three years of great famine') was a period between 1959 and 1961 in the history of the People's Republic of China (PRC) characterized by widespread famine.[2][3][4][5][6] Some scholars have also included the years 1958 or 1962.[7][8][9][10] It is widely regarded as the deadliest famine and one of the greatest man-made disasters in human history, with an estimated death toll due to starvation that ranges in the tens of millions (15 to 55 million).[note 1] The most stricken provinces were Anhui (18% dead), Chongqing (15%), Sichuan (13%), Guizhou (11%) and Hunan (8%).[1]
@rdw2008
@rdw2008 2 жыл бұрын
@@zyzzenjoyer7825 I've read somewhere in the past that individuals have gone to China and done some tallies to determine how many people died from the famine, and the number some were able to find were up to 70million people.. however it's quite impossible to determine the exact Number... Which is why the "official" number of people who perished during the famine is so broad. 15-55 is still insane... The saddest part is, people were so content with the overall progress of China since the cultural revolution had ended, that the older generation typically doesn't speak about the atrocities that happened in the past, a) because they are happy with China's progression and b) because they know that they'd be silenced anyways... So it's still common for many young people today to not know anything or very little about China's terrible history.... These recent lockdowns (to me anyways, since I've studied their history) seems like they are repeating history.. and like they say, if you don't learn from history, you're doomed to repeat it...

So personal experience with this. I got to a point where the videos weren't doing it for me anymore and I would scroll and scroll but never get that dopamine rush. I would also get these random days where nothing mattered to me anymore. I lost interest in video games and hobbies, because I wasn't getting that instant gratification, but I chocked it up to depression as I have had a past with random depression episodes. But with this app and the lack of dopamine, these random events of feeling depressed got worse and worse and more frequent. Luckily, all that staring at my phone was also give me frequent headaches. Finally I couldn't take the headaches anymore and deleted the app, and I haven't touched it since. And low and behold but the random depression episodes have subsided and I'm finding enjoyment in things again. And now when I look back on this, addiction essentially, it all starts to make sense. I know this was long, but I just hope it'll help someone else who might be in the same trap as I was.

Isaac, I fully respect your thought patterns and the way you think, you are incredibly logical and put facts before feelings (Which is something you never see now days) and I agree with everything you say. Stay safe isaac, we need more people like you!

i was sent some tik tok footage, it was of a young Australian woman engaging in a few acts of bestiality, whom was claiming she was the real victim because ppl had reported her to police and animal welfare . it needs to be banned

When i was around 7 or younger i had a early symptom, the coughing one, i was constantly "clearing my throat" to the point where i stopped noticing it and it became instinctual, after a few months or years i slowly stepped, without noticing.

I think this is kind of hilarious but ever since TikTok first came out me and a couple of my friends have banished it from our friend group. We continue to bash the app and try to get others to delete it. Now I have more evidence to convert people to my cause of trying trying to remove TikTok.

Was diagnosed with ADHD when I was in 1st grade around early 2000's and I think I was normal the therapist that tested me wanted the money from the drugs and I was only on them 1 year but it still messed me up

The ADHD epidemic is most likely driven by the potential availability of amphetamines. Think about it. Take all the time you like.
