There’s no polite way to say this truth, because it is not a polite truth.

And that, “truth,” is? . . . I don’t mind saying it. The GOP are Fascists, by the literal definition of the term. The trump’s began by delegitimising Obama as, “foreign,” and Clinton as a criminal, with, “Lock Her Up,” already a tired refrain before trump even got the presidency. They recognise NO opponent as lawful or legitimate, and in the end, (as I warned, time and time again) they simply abandoned all law, rationality, ideology, or reason, in an attempted Coup. It may well have been hopeless, stupid and misguided, but so was the whole Confederate Army, who’s banner they proudly waved and stood beneath. They are quite literally Fascists, who not only refuse to recognise ANY opposition, but who WILL outlaw it, unless we break their movement, completely. And, finish the job this time . . .

McConnell and ilk are true confederates...they don’t believe in federalism, even as most states run by their likes are taking more in tax money than they generate, and have no problem with calling for disaster relief, or other perks of the federalist system. @garry carlyle - The Biden-Harris Team had a good running start. Trump's contempt for the Legislative Branch was so complete that whenever possible he made changes by Executive Order instead of by law. Biden walked into office already prepared to reverse many of those Executive Orders immediately, and he did in the first couple of days without a great deal of fanfare. It's true that several departments caught Trump's attention and will require a long time to reconstruct with qualified professionals once again.

It's probably fair to suppose that everyone viewing this Content has more or less the same take on what is happening in America. I also suppose that a large portion of the American Public, say 48 percent, have a polarised view and probably don't watch anything from MSNBC. The main challenge today is to have open and regular Dialog between the opposing groups and try to find a healthy common ground to move forward. But battle we must! Against bad faith.
