Isabella Boylston and James Whiteside -- Black Swan Pas de Deux

James and I filmed this last fall after months of dancing in our kitchens. We’re so thankful to Stella Abrera for allowing us to film at the beautiful Kaatsbaan!

Wow. So very beautiful. And what a sustained arabesque! James Whiteside is such a wonderful partner and I love his whole seriousness and beauty to his partnering, his expression and somber but charismatic demeanor. This was so very beautiful. Isabella's gorgeous feet are always pointed, even when going front, and then a la second and then arabesque in one swoop. Gorgeous! What a beautifully performed pas de deux and beautiful outdoor stage.

I got very emotional viewing this. It moved me to tears of joy! This, to me, was our Phoenix rising from the ashes. We have been through so much, and you two along with the entire dance community, fought so hard to get to this point. You look even more stunning than pre- pandemic.
