Hey angels happy wednesday!! I've been dying to make this video!! I think this has been a long time coming and well slowly witness the flop aka (Monat) go down. So while you may see this hair care company on your facebook or on that friend from highschools instagram, here's the tea behind it!

Back in 2019 I was in cosmetology school, and sometimes we would have guest speakers to talk to us about services and/or products. One day we had a woman come in to talk to us about products from a company that she worked for....Monat. None of us had ever heard of it before and honestly it sounded really interesting while she was talking to us. At one point something about her pitch had started to sound a little off to me. Funny enough I had seen a anti MLM video somewhat recently before that had clued me in so I raised my hand and straight up asked her what made the company different from a multi level marketing scheme. My teacher and classmates weren't a big fan of how i had asked so you can imagine the validation I felt when a few years later monat came up in a conversation where I finally confirmed they were an MLM and the actual worst 😂

I just remembered Chelsea did a video explaining how some of the highest folks in the pyramid made something like $300 a month in personal sales yet took home a million-dollar cheque. These people dared to belittle their downline when they weren’t enriching themselves enough. When the downline had slumps in sales, they were told they weren’t working hard enough, yet they were selling more than the person yelling at them. That’s the whole problem.

Thanks for doing this video, Unfortunately I fell for the marketing of Monat, instead of helping my hair grow as what the products promised to do and for the price i paid, the products that i used fried off my hair, had to chop atleast 7 inches off to make my hair look semi healthy. Monat had such a efficient (albeit unethical) business model. All they had to do was using a basic drugstore level of formula for their products + do right by their "collaborators" and they would have been set for decades! Instead, they decided to remind us, that there is truly no honour to be found among thieves! 🤷🏾‍♀️

I just came across your channel, and am following Julie Anderson, and CC Suarez, and few other anti-mlms. I have been with MONAT since 2019, but leaving. I’ll be sharing more as I’m getting out. I haven’t shared MONAT for awhile now, but am still in a few groups. I got some access to various content and sent to Julie A, but I’m finding so much wrong, and going down, since I decided to stop. As for Toni V, I was in many of her groups, challenges, etc, and I heard also what you mentioned as far as her & Jays suing MONAT, and also Stuart. Part of what I heard of why Toni got fired, or let go, was also partly because there was rumor they already were doing another mlm, which isn’t allowed, according to agreement with MONAT. Anyway, I’ve been following more of their story as well. It’s crazy how I’m still seeing a few of what’s left of the top people, still share MONAT and how great they’re doing, which I know isn’t true! Thanks for all your info, I’ll have to watch some of your other vids now.

Monat used to be this as seen on tv company called wen. They had the exact same issues and shut down. A few years later they reopened as an mlm. Its always had the same issues.

Youd be surprised how most companies are just like this now days ! Everything is about selling anything for high prices but not actually caring for the ppl your selling to. Small note, because while I don't like Monat, or MLMs in general, sometimes there's also bad players on the other side of the fence : The woman at 7:49 talking about her hair loss doesn't provide actual evidence to her claims. She shows pictures of her hand holding clumps of hair, which could be from anything. A haircut, or even brushing her dog. We don't see any pictures of her actual head after using the products, which I find very suspicious..

Lmaooo I got sucked into doing Monat for a bit many years ago. I think the most I made was like $200-300 in a month from selling it to my friends/family (all of whom actually really liked it) but I HATED having to post on instagram and talk to people about it, it was so embarrassing lol. I do miss the oil though, it was so good as a face moisturizer 😅 It’s absolutely crazy to see girls who I used to work alongside either still doing Monat or having moved on to another MLM and making bank off their followers joining under them for a new “opportunity”. Like pls get a job

It was so cringe that they would have rep events and it was literally like a cult the way they carry on.
