Tax preparer here: none of the things listed by that person are tax deductions. And the reason she thinks she can do that is because uplines have been telling them for years that they can write that stuff off. If a tax preparer is letting them get away with that they are risking their own cpa or EA license by including that on a return.

I had a client who worked for beach body before and her up line was telling her she could write off her monthly shakeology order. I told her no way is that a tax deduction and was prepared for her to argue about it. I printed off articles from journal of accountancy and stuff and she was like “oh. Ok. Lol, smartsheets was basically a project manager mlm. When the company launched they gave PMs cash incentives to get companies to buy licenses. I’m pretty sure I first heard that comments about being “poured into” from Dave Hollis when MacAttack is talking about him. And Mac giggles about it so much that it makes me start laughing too and I feel like Mac and I are 12 year old boys laughing at a dirty joke. 😂

Interesting how in the graph there are no numbers. If there is anything I learned in my statistics class is that good data representation should include labels. They labeled years no no money. There’s no reference. Of course Monat would NEVER show those numbers. Btw just found your channel and I love it!! I also watch CC and you all are queens👸🏻

The excitement over NDAs is killing me. I've had to sign NDAs at more than one job, including my current one, and it wasn't even because I was being told sensitive information, but because I was just AROUND sensitive information that I could possibly overhear/see. They're pretty standard in any law firm or lab setting, including maintenance staff and contractors. You aren't exactly important in the company if you sign one, and they're pretty common.

Monet came to Australia last year? Huh…I haven’t heard a thing from them here. I sometimes check the socials of the ‘huns’ in the local area/state to see who and what to avoid…but when I tried searching for Monet, all I got were people selling prints of beautiful paintings 😆. I mean, it doesn’t mean they don’t exist around here, but not even my mlm obsessed sister has sniffed them out yet. Let’s hope it stays that way.

It's so ironic that the first person shared their shein outfit because MLMers are always railing against those who organically share online what products they're using - e.g. their beloved Starbucks example - because when you do it you don't get payed for it and they would "never".

You are extremely interesting to watch! You have receipts and common sense. I spent thousands in an MLM, hoping to make it big. I realized that wasn't going to happen for me. I'm embarrassed at how much I spent on products that I had to turn around and sell at a reduced price. Thank you for doing such a great job. It's a pleasure to watch. Congrats on a sponsor!!!

I can kind of understand the last lady, I used to have an Etsy shop, and I typically would use my profits from my sales to buy more fabric,sometimes to make more products, but often it was an excuse just to buy what I wanted without guilt and without having to fit it into the family budget.

I'm not from the US so I don't know much about your tax law, but it is a basic principle that you cannot write off personal expenses. You could justify your clothes can be a write off because you need to look a certain way (many people have tried, I know of a guy that was a professional and put his suits as a write off, and went to trial to fight it) but it's shady AF and the government can absolutely deny them to you. Any accountant in the US that can complement this? 😅
@elliejane72
@elliejane72 2 жыл бұрын
My dad was in the ministry for many years and at one time someone had him check into seeing if his suits and ties and stuff like that would be tax deductible because that’s what he preached in. Ministers who wear robes can deduct the cost of the robes so that’s what they were thinking. What my dad found out was that he could deduct those items ONLY if he left them at the church. He would have to change when he got there and then change when he left. The ministers that wear robes usually don’t walk around shopping in them😂 that’s why they would be tax deductible. So I guess if the hun puts her eye lashes on when she gets to the party and takes them off before she leaves she MIGHT be able to deduct them😂😂😂

Oh yeah I had a round table with our last ceo and we do video calls at least once a month with current ceo and the executive team. Ok, I have only had 1 paid trip. It was with my director to train a group in what my group does. However, I do get crazy things like a guaranteed paycheck, vacation, and even insurance 🤣🤣🤣

Here’s what gets me: these titles like Sr Exec Director. Director of what? They don’t direct people or the company direction or teams. Factually, an SED is an SED because of how many carts of shampoo she processed from Instagram last year (meaning sales volume). It has nothing to do with being an executive. Maybe someone should ‘pour into them’ this fact. LOL.
