YGTUT from Chattanooga. He has an old song with Isaiah Rashad called G35. I strongly recommend either you listen to it or post a reaction to it. Isaiah had his "sound" (or DNA as you call it) wayyyy back, and he had it down pat. He knew exactly what he was doing.
@wonderwatchesYt3 жыл бұрын
People change, so of course his sound would too. Can’t repeat the same album he made five years ago. On CD he was hungry, TST was him engraving himself as a top TDE member, and now THIB is his comeback. He struggled through that layoff, so I don’t believe this took five years to make. I’m just gonna appreciate we actually got this album, even though I do personally think it’s weakest out of his discog, but it’s still a great effort. 3/3 - 8/10
@AcrylicHD3 жыл бұрын
yeah is 3rd in his discog, but still a very good album

After sitting through this album a few times I have to agree that The Sun’s Tirade still stands out as his best piece of work. I actually really like every song on this album (same with TST) but there was never that song that stood out as that “holy shit” moment. When I compare the two, I’m looking at songs on TST and I personally feel that there are MULTIPLE songs that are better than EVERY song on THIB. 4r Da Squaw, Free Lunch, and Wat’s Wrong just to name a few. He really set the bar high with TST and I didn’t realize it until I listened to THIB which is an excellent album in it’s own right.
@shanjivponnampalam94253 жыл бұрын
I dont agree with this, TST has also ''lower lows'' with tracks like Bday, A lot, By George (outro). Cilvia Demo is still his best work, cause that's an absolute monster of an album, literally no skips on that. I agree on you with the ''holy shit'' tracks on TST, those are really outstanding songs (Tity and Dolla too).
@Mike167933 жыл бұрын
I have to disagree, I feel this album is just as good if not a lil better than his last.
@kingshteeze83883 жыл бұрын
You’re comparing apples to oranges. These are different stages of his life you can’t compare them. He’s not gonna put the same music out he’s gonna keep evolving and experimenting. I personally think THIB is his best album and will be considered a classic in a few years
@daveionharris29533 жыл бұрын
I agree that Zay has made better-sounding albums, but personally, I found this album to be his deepest for the simple fact that he had much more to say here. Zay himself said that this is his most depressing album because of the subtle references to everything he's been through during his 5 year break (like rehab, drug abuse, and family issues). This album felt like it was made in a more vulnerable state, and I LOVED IT!
@schmuck.on.wheels3 жыл бұрын
@@daveionharris2953 I feel like all of his albums were made in a very vulnerable state, his vulnerability is one of his biggest strengths as an artist imo. Not just in his lyrics either, you can hear it in his voice.
