start with jazz guitar lessons from a good teacher
@MarcusALambert10 ай бұрын
#1 be born a prodigy lol. But in all seriousness I’d say start taking some jazz guitar courses. He’s using a lot of chord voicings that I hear in jazz. Passing chords, triads (if you don’t know your triads…LEARN THEM!). Sharkey also really understands the guitar and how to connect everything he does. I’m learning triads for the first time and it’s starting to expand how I play chords. Certain inversions give me different voicings and I’m now able to sound more like the records when I play on a gig. It’s also helping to develop my ear. I’ll listen to the root, 1st inversion and 2nd inversion and I can start to hear the difference even tho it may be the same chord. Anyways, I hope that helps to answer your question just a little bit.

Learn jazz songs . A lot of the movements he’s doing are from him transcribing other jazz musicians that came before him .

Would blues with a overdrive sound good on this guitar ??😁👍

I’d say as long as u keep the drive super light and amp-like to only respond when u really dig in. This guitars clean sound shouldn’t be hidden

😊I’m a beginner with small hands /fingers, hence the 3/4 choice would you say it’s a good choice? Thank you 😊
@DAngelicoNY9 ай бұрын
It's definitely not a bad choice, but if you're looking for a guitar better suited for smaller hands, you may want to look at our Mini DC models as well!

Finally y'all put HUMBUCKER in those a wise move I don't know why you waited so long the floating pick ups are too thin the only guitar that sounds halfway decent is the George Benson model with the floating pick ups and maybe a Johnny Smith if you get the right one. oh yeah maybeherb ellis floating I don't know what makes it the magic thing but most the time hunbuckers sound better than most vas because floating pick up yes you can get a good sound in the studio but in the real world it's kind of a thin sound I don't know why I don't know if it has to do with floating or there a lot smaller than a regular hb pick up I don't know?
