Am I cooked? I’ve been training under your principles for 1-2 years and finally wanted to try an eccentric focused cycle which was done after hypertrophy, max strength, and power focused cycles to build up to the highest specificity. But you said its a golden bullet, so did I just waste it if I did it improperly not under your guidance?

Do you guys ever take ibuprofen or don’t suggest?
@googlefaps5883
@googlefaps5883 5 ай бұрын
It’s anti inflammatory. It could perhaps slow ur gains. Defo don’t take it to get rid of joint pain so u can train harder. That’s stupid. Perhaps. Just maybe. If ur smart, and ballsy enough u could use it if u HAVE to say for a competition or for a little bit of quicker recovery. But most sources I’ve seen made by medical professionals are completely against it for performance reasons. So if u can take something that is not NSAID that would be better. Or just ibuprofen for general things like headaches. The intention is probably worse then the effects. Never take it to decrease pain from or for training or working out. That’ll just lead u to make it worse

is this “every training as a golden pill thing” the reason why we see so strong, nice technique athletes on internet who stopped progressing at 42-48 inches of vertical?
@cosminczifra120
@cosminczifra120 3 ай бұрын
Could also be the genetic potential
@JacobNorthrup121
@JacobNorthrup121 7 күн бұрын
Could also be that the intensity of training required to get beyond that point is so intense only some people can handle it physically or mentally. They were definitely exaggerating the golden bullet analogy a bit. Yeah the effectiveness of redoing that cycle at that intensity is lessened once you do a cycle of it but can always add intensity

Isaiah it's not cool to say that you have the highest approach vertical when that record is held by Darius Clark. You are a cool guy but that white boys bad attitude is wearing off on you. If you want to make that claim then prove it guineas world record
@IsaiahRivera1
@IsaiahRivera1 5 ай бұрын
I've backed up the claim by measuring my reach and and the height of the vertec on the jump accurately on camera. Just because it's on Guinness doesn't make it a world record.. it just means that Guinness verified it.
@ChrisHenry735
@ChrisHenry735 5 ай бұрын
@IsaiahRivera1 I understand man but its very bias if you're basing it on your own measurement. It doesn't need to be guiness world record but there should be a third party that measures it to avoid any sort of bias since this record comes down to centimeters. It's just kind of corny man. Third party verify it and then brag about it all day
