I agree. I saved that song on my playlist when I my heart was broken but it felt imperfect. What was missing was the feeling of true emotion. Like the original feela a little too much like a product for music business while this version is heart and soul poured gently on the stage.

I'm a 73 yr old man and after hearing a young guy sing this 0n BGT, this moody melody just keeps tabs on my emotive side and pops up in my head outa nowhere, jus like today. So I listened to Finneas' version jus then and the guy is so talented and emotively captivating! Then I listen to this version from Isak and Wow! What a more talented kid with such a beautiful sound and display of vocal ability. 👍

I am 👵 the same age with the same reaction! This song keeps popping up in my mind. Please look for Procul Harum with the Danish National Orchestra and Choir, A Whiter Shade of Pale. It’s in 2006 & the late Gary Brooker’s voice was richer and even more beautiful than the original in 1967! ❤

Has more of a sharp and almost like anger tone or like the singer feels disappointed to whoever he sings this song to. But in this version. I imagine that the singer always wonders and wonders until he realizes something then he starts to laugh about it. while asking the other person magically while being in a sarcastic tone.
