ISDT response to my video • ISDT ESC70 brushed ESC...
ISDT told, that I bought a version that should not have been released and they will send an actual version of their ESC70 for free to me. I will be back with a review of the "ready to sell" version of this ESC.

ISDT need to stick more charger that esc, as I say in last video I will stick with my 1080, not having problem and more confident

Yes, love my ISDT chargers, I have 14 of the sc-608 in use….but they all needed immediate calibration to prevent overcharging of some cells…..consistently cell #3😎

For drag brake set pwm to 10khz, brake 5, active brake 10, active brake enable or disable, I like enable.

Isdt ha e just updated the app now they are realy on this isue mine keeps the voltage I set after turning on and off befor update had to update from app store as in program update would not install

Sounds good, glad they reached out to you. Could you please check their cut-off settings - is that value per cell or for the total battery pack? I saw it was pre-set at 6V in your review with 2S and in another review it was still at 6V with 3S. Could be a a serious safety issue if people just plug and play this ESC.

Checked it, you are right - changed to 3s, but cutoff voltage still (after saving, closing the app, restarting, reconnecting) 6 V (3 V / cell) - this is a bug, you'll have to adjust this manually. (However, I personally never had any issues with this, and never drive till cutoff, and using the app you will be able to check the voltage, but still a bug). BTW: Do not think sending the new ESC to me will solve those problems. Many of the guys in the forum did get their ESC70 from Amazon, the "correct version" (engraving on top), and they do face the same issues.

hi, we set the cut-off voltage to 6V by default, the intention is that most RC Car players' batteries are 2s, which is more user friendly. You can set it to "auto" so that the cut-off voltage will automatically change with the battery cells.

@@isdt7812 The setting should ALWAYS be per cell, never the full voltage. Please change this so it always changes automatically with different batteries. I don't want to run my batteries down to 3 volts per cell anyway.
