Being living in the vicinity for more than 60 years, very proud to have this place on KZbin. Although both locations have gone thru renovation and the old wooden legendary shops have gone they still are the landmark at Kochijyoji. Place to visit and enjoy Yakitori as well as the atmospheres.

I got the chance to go here when I went to Japan, and the food was delicious! It was on a day when me and my sister decided to do separate things so I was most definitely the youngest person in the building and I got to sit at the bar, right behind where Simon and Martina are sitting actually. Then I moved to Europe, visited churches from the 1100's and it changed my perspective of "old". Went to Italy last year. In the middle of Rome they have excavations exposing structures from 2000 years ago. And then there was the Colosseum. Seeing those places with your own eyes can have a profound effect on your perception of "old".
