I think the charm of Chie's work is her subtle use of sound. My workshop sounds like a Banshee at times, no birdlife in the rafters, the dog is lounging on the couch & my paramour is, definitely, not behind the camera. Ishitani is a true craftsman!!

Hey mate, I'm a carpenter by trade and love your work, beautiful joints for practical reasons, so much stuff is overly complex without practical reasons, and not afraid to use screws when they are the best form of fixture. beautiful stuff. I know from experience that the perfection you constantly show takes time and this means that these pieces of furniture will last generations, and hence cost more, how much would one of these cost?
