What's crazy is that the deck is even nerfed playing the dated TCG version, while Snake Eyes gets to play Maxx C. @@shawnjavery You'd probably need to be on Soul Release and targeting multiple shufflers each time to get rid of those annoyances for good. Trying to steal them with stuff like Shark Cannon and Autonomous Action Unit also works wonders at forcing them out, and if they allow you to resolve those you can force banish them when summoned to target cards YOU want out of the GY. I experimented with Ishizu Striker in Master Duel and that did surprisingly well during their stint with Ishizu Tear, but the difference there is Engage was at 2 and some of the Tear cards were pre-hit enough to make other attempts at using Ishizu cards(which came BEFORE Tearlaments was out in THAT metagame) viable and even fun to play during that time.

The difference of a true revolutionary Tier 0 deck, that by itself detroyed everything else in every format TCG, OCG to MD by a landslide, against all other decks at full power. A deck that still performs at high level despite getting murdered in banlist with many banned and limited cards. Versus an overhyped "tier 0" deck, that at full power still need to rely heavily on the combined "Fire decks" nonsense, and even then still couldn't reach T0 as a whole, while by itself never take more than 36% in OCG, despite most other deck got nerfed to the ground by banlist. Funny thing is, this match is unfair to begin with, as FK was using MaxxC while Tear didn't, but even that couldn't save it from the huge powerlevel difference. Not to mention, this is not even the best Tear build, as they had bricks like Bystials against a Fire deck, while also not having Tear Kash, a big support, and not having new staple like S:P as well. If Tear still exists today at full power, all these Fire decks and Snake Eyes won't even be Rogue, they'd be casual tier at best, because only toxic Shifter Floodgate decks would stand a chance.

They would definitely win the cup and eliminate any element of surprise. It would be still fun to see which decks even cause them a bit of struggle (probably just floodgates going first)

Put shunsuke hiyama artifact traptrix from worlds, seems to be the best version of the deck and has never been features...

I'd LOVE to see FullMetalfoes in action!

Well, that match just about said it all didn't it? A borderline tier 0 deck with access to Maxx C just got absolutely mutilated by Ishizu Tear. If Fire King Snake Eye with Maxx C can't even take a single game off them, 2022/23 Ishizu Tear absolutely cannot be in the CBC. I would suggest putting the nerfed 2024 version into the CBC, with the millers, instant fusion, and Kitkallos banned and the names limited. And I bet they STILL do really well. Unrelated note; For Kashtira, maybe put them in post-Mind Hacker ban, but while they still had one copy of Ariseheart. Looking forward to the announcements!

I do have a current TCG banlist Tear decklist and I did VERY well with it. Out of all the matches that I played with it, I only lost to Branded Despia, Because they put up +8 interruptions, And I actually forced out 7 of them. Other than that, Every other match, Just felt like me playing with my food lmao. The problem tho is that it requires someone who is a true expert with the deck, To play it properly. Any mistake could single-handedly cost you rounds. So although 2024 Tearlaments is gonna be a great contender, But it requires too much experience to be piloted properly, Which is why it won't do well. That's what I think at least

@@_Sasuke_99 I would be interested to see current Horus Tear vs full power Spright with Elf. I bet Tear still takes it

@@donaldlivingston75 I mean my hand wasn't even that great against Branded Despia, Yet I still forced out 7/8 interruptions. I had Trivikarma and King Sarcophagus and my opponent had Branded Beast (Trap). I activated King Sarcophagus, And they immediately chained Branded Beast, Not even allowing me to discard Trivikarma. So yeah that was the end of the line lol. I would've played even more if they waited until I discard with King Sarcophagus, But it is what it is. If I can do that against Branded Despia, Then yeah it'll definitely play through full power Spright boards lol

Can we have an Exosister list this time as well?

09:55 So it is decided that Lithium will stick to the separation into 2 brackets? That's fine by me.

I think….. CBC is ready for Striker Mine. Can you use Jesse Kotton’s Sky Striker 2019 WCQ playoffs list? If not a player then we could have it as a challenger appears.

Deck soo strong that using handtraps was seen as a handicap
