Bravo! Loved it, you really committed to the task, must’ve taken a while. From my favorite album by ISIS and one of the best maritime themed ones, alongside The Ocean’s “Pelagial” and Mastodon’s “Leviathan”

Cheers! This one came together recording-wise pretty quickly, but the video editing was a bit of a chore. Definitely a fun song to play though, it really takes you on a rollercoaster. I'm a big fan of Leviathan too, I got to see them when they toured that record and were opening with Hearts Alive, epic!

duuuuuuuude. This was my favorite Isis song for so long. Something about how it just slowly builds and builds, like a torrent of waves crashing down. Great song choice, I highly enjoyed it (the drums sounded great as always too imho). The guitar from 4:30 or so onwards is catchy too. Great job man.

Such a great tune, I think this one is really a foundational track for post metal, and just how to keep building and building a piece of music without just adding new parts. Drum mixing is getting interesting, I'm starting to lean less on compression and more on saturation to get them to be present in mixes. I have a song finished though that didn't quite come out as good mix-wise with this approach, definitely gotta be a bit more careful mixing drums with fast fills and double bass as it's less forgiving of over doing it.
