@@hermitcollector In a vault when a spawner activates it can come with the sound of lava being quenched by water. This means the spawner will "fizzle out" in a wave or so of mobs, breaking itself in the process.

@@hermitcollector in simple words..fizzle spawners are safe once you kill the mobs..and non fizzle spawners keep spawing mobs forever.

I need that Trowel. My brain seems to work differently than everyone else’s. Whenever I try to make something random I can’t help but see patterns in it that shouldn’t be there so I struggle to do “natural” looking builds in minecraft. A trowel would really help with that.

I think when people said in the first episode that "why are all the rooms the same," they meant is there an end room, crystall cave, village room, mine room, X mark room ect... Because so far all we have seen is the same style room with spawners and chests. Can you confirm or deny that the special rooms from the 1.16 version like the rooms I listed above are in the 1.18 version?

A lot of the old rooms are still there, but now they are either "Challenge Rooms" with different mobs or "Omega Rooms" without Mobs and just loot. Personally I don't like the way they kept these in because they stick out like sore thumbs in the middle of the themed vaults. Just seems really weird.

Obelisks and monoliths are found and activated the same way, but monoliths give you a reward crate for finding them all, but obelisks spawn in a boss that you have to defeat to get the crate. Whether you get obelisks or monoliths depends on the random objective you have.

So glad to see youtube series , and to answer a quest from vod channel video , yours is the first and only vods I have ever watched , and I know alot of streamers lol , I just can't do streams there too noisy , hearing the same question every 2 mins and the interaction notification noise makes my head hurt, BUT you make it worth putting up with so that is bloody impressive. Also the reason alot of viewers like you having wayla/oneprobe ect is because it tells us what mod your using at that time easily , for instance when you used the sticks as a fence for bedroom. Hope this all makes sense and comes across only as positive comments because I only have love for your work

I don't play VH (yet) but remember StressMonster did a whole series trying to get an elytra from the Vaults and never saw one. They seemed to be incredibly rare in the last version so will probably be rare in this one.

Today I learned that "homely" in means something different in Europe versus North America! I was about to correct iskall that it's "homey" not "homely," but I'm glad I looked it up first. Homely (in Europe) = cozy and comfortable Homely (in NA) = unattractive in appearance NA uses "homey" instead of "homely" for the "comfy and cozy" definition 🌈 🎶 The more you know 🎶 🌈

Love almost every change in the new season, but really dont like the new vaults, while yes there are "37 different rooms for each theme" they might aswell be all the same, the chest being in different places and the layout being a bit different doesnt change the fact that they look basically the same and play the same. Also the points of interest change makes the vault more boring and formulaic, instead of the chaos and randomness of the old vaults now its basically just moving from room to room that all look the same and doing an infinite loop of "see chests - aproach - kill mobs - loot - repeat 500 times" while at all times just wishing that a special room will apear to stop the monotony. Sorry that this comment isnt super positive, like i said i love basically every other change made and was going to do a new playthrough of the new season but the vaults really killed my interest, i cant imagine doing 10 of these vaults, much less hundreds and since they are the core of the pack its just too important to be left this bare bones. Maybe revert back the vault changes and improve upon this idea for the next update? I think its a good idea, the execution just wasnt great.

I don't know, not only does it add to the character of ge vaults it also seems more logical lore wise? Idk how to explain it but a randomized theme for every vault is more logical to me lore wise rathet than random room after random room.

Maybe these changes just dont fit my personal playstyle as much as the old vaults did, tbh i really liked the old vaults and didnt find them monotonous. Perhaps im judging the rooms too harshly when maybe what i dont like the most is the point of interest system. I also dont want an overhaul, like i said in my orginal comment i think the whole idea behind the new vaults to be a good one, i just think that more veriety would make them better, i just suggested reverting the changes for now because i know a big update to the vaults would take a long time to make. I really dont want you to get the idea that i think the update is bad because like i said, everything besides the vaults i really loved and think improve the pack a lot. And again i was sharing my personal opinion on something i didnt like, obviously if most people like it then its a good change. Sadly there is no version of anything that will please everyone, so just keep developing this pack in the way you, your devs and the majority of the community think its best.

@@elbennoo I agree, i likes the themed system, i would just like for there to be different rooms that fit that theme, (for example: Snow theme vaults could have a room with snow men that attack you, knock you back but dont deal damage to hinder movement; or a desert theme could have a room where you need to dig the sand to find a big treasure; etc etc). If every vault had a theme that had like 5-6 unique rooms that are related to it, some common rooms and then the special omega rooms that would be amazing, and would make each theme seem really unique and give a different experience. Maybe each theme could give more of some kind of loot (idk if thats already in the pack, dont remember). As it stands right now the theme of the vault seems really inconsequential besides being a different skin (i know it adds some variety, just not enough imo). When it comes to lore its not something i really care about so cant really comment on that.

I love the changes made for this update! It feels more like an official game than just a mod now that the themes are more consistent. It also makes the rare rooms seem more omega than ever!
