Hare Krishna Prabhuji doing yajna is also a part of our karma, and if one does not do so then the life is full of sin and a waste. and by doing the prescribed duty in a detached way one can attain liberation. and if one is so transcendental that doing duty or not doing it does not matter, then one should do the duty for the sake of setting good example for others. thank you.

Thank you Prabhuji. Here Krishna says that it is not the activity that causes bondage but if one is detached and does one's duty in accordance with the scriptures one can attain the Supreme Lord.

Karma is not just taking care of family but also need to connect with God. Yajna is the means which enable us to acknowledge the higher authority and ultimately the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Frustration from material life is not sufficient to take renounced order of life, there has to be positive attraction for supreme lord.

Krsna turns around the argument - if you are so transcendental that externals don’t, matter, then do your duty to set a good example. Frustration with material life is not sufficient for spiritual life. One should have positive attraction for spiritual life. This attraction is shown by sustained commitment.

Hare Krishna. 3.14 - 3.19 - Yagna differentiate humans from animals. 3.14 - All living beings subsist on food grains, which are produced from rains. Rains are produced by performance of Yagna(sacrifice), and yajna is born of prescribed duties. 3.15 - Regulated activities are prescribed in the vedas, and vedas are directly manifested from the SPoG. Consequently the all - pervading Transcendence is eternally situated in acts of sacrifice. The cycle of sacrifice - Krishna (Akshara) Source and Goal Bhutani (Living entity) --Vedas -- Karma -- Yajna -- Parijanya(rains) -- Anna(Grains) -- Living entity. Universe is made accessible through yagna. From breathing of Lord, all four vedas come. 3.16 - One who does not follow the cycle of sacrifice such a person's life is filled with sin and living for personal sense gratification is living in vain. Practice KY for setting example. 3.17 - One who is satisfied, illuminated and blissful within, such a person has no duty. This is elevated stage at Jnana Yoga. 3.18 - Such a person has no purpose to fulfill duty nor any reason to perform such work. Nor he has any need to depend on others. 3.19 - So without being attachement to fruits of activities, one should act as a matter of duty, for by working without attachment one attains the Supreme. Frustation in material life is not the sufficient qualification for spiritual life, actually there has to be genuine attraction for spiritual life. It is tested and demonstrated by steady practice day after day. 3.20 - Kings like Janaka got liberated by performing prescribed duties. So Arjuna do your karma and set a good example for others.

Grains come from Yajya. Yajya comes from Karmas. Karmas come from Vedas... Part of our karmas is to do yajya.
