It interests me that back in the 70's, when actual racism existed on a much grander scale than today, immigrants came with an attitude of wanting to become British, rather than detesting their new home. Now, when the demand for racism far outstrips the supply, immigrants come here with no desire to become British. Do they think Britian is too soft now? Do they depise us for being weak? Did they for some reason "respect" us more back in the 70's? I find it quite genuinely strange.

Muslims need a firm hand. They need to be ruled over by a dictator. Not because I say so, but because history tells you this is true. Look at Libya , Iraq etc. what happened when the firm hand was removed ???? Muslims only respect strength . Show them a firm hand and they will fall in line.

It’s because even when migrants do integrate and do everything “right” from getting qualifications, to learning the language, getting a job and paying taxes, being civil and polite and not getting involved with crime etc, often times they’re still not accepted in society so immigrants and their descendants lose their interest to integrate

I grew up in the 80s in West Yorkshire. Most of my street was white, with the odd ethnic minority family like ours. We blended in and became like the English lads and were proud to be British. It felt like the best country in the world. Today, I see that street I grew up on, is 100% muslim. There's nothing left for minorities to assimilate into. The country feels horrible, disunited and full of people that hate it including the native Brits who feel their culture is disappearing and they feel a sense of betrayal. Throw in the economic woes and it's all one big recipe for disaster. The politicians of this country have done unforgivable damage with their open door policies. They are dumb beyond belief.

You hit the nail on the head. That was a different immigrant mindset in the 70's and 80's, when being British was something to aspire to. The political parties changed over the years to become a weak force. I also think the class attitude of the British destroyed society from within. I remember not so long ago, the attitude of a female British labour politician involved in creaming money from some scheme and when she was confronted with her actions, she showed that she really did'nt care about rorting the system. So this is the party that was meant to represent the working class ! Then you have the Post Office scandal. That one is the worst I've seen.

Top man @Sunil 👌🏽❤️🙏🏾 70s was full of racism but we often laughed it off or taught it off and moved on all the while having an underlying value and respect for Britain. I personally felt very proud making a crown for our beloved HM QE2 (RIP) ❤🙏🏾

Multiculturalism has failed. There is nothing we can learn from cultures like Eritrean, Somalian. Albanian, Pakistani. They do not enrich our culture at all. Other cultures have adapted well, notably Indian. Cultures are NOT THE SAME.

The underlying culture within all those is Islam. If you have taken some time to become educated on the ideology you will know it's inherently intolerant towards other ideologies. You can't tolerate intolerance and Islam is an intolerant ideology. Signed a Kuffar/Person of the book.

Well, Britain survived Christianity, Judaism, Protestantism, Theosophism, Neopaganism, and Scientology, ...I'm confident it will also survive Islam. If it survives another 4-6 years of continued austerity and authoritarianism is another question, since those are real, not imaginary.

"Britain survived Christianity" If that wasn't ironic, it was deluded. The basis of British culture, ethics, customs were built on Christianity. Some people just want to adopt the inherited culture with a complete distain for its origin A better statement would be, Britain can survive Islam, atheism, and wokeism

@@DalazG "Gimme that old time religion, it's good enough for me". Whatever floats your boat, but why are some British so keen on sticking to their Roman and Norman invader's religion? Wouldn't a return to the elder, pre-roman culture support British independence and autonomy better? After all, UK's economic (and maybe diplomatic) relations these days are better to a whole host of non-christian nations than to their christian neighbors.

A similar problem is happening in Spain with mass migration of British people who are not learning Spanish or observing Spanish culture. Now Thailand is being invaded by Brits who are not learning Thai or taking on Thai culture.

284.000 brits - mainly old folk - in Spain. Spain has about 50 million inhabitants. Hardly comparible in many ways.
