Whereas learning about the history of mental health in the Islamic world is important, it is equally important to understand how this can serve our community today. As international efforts attempt to encroach on Islamic achievements, it is vital that Muslims recognize the steps that need to be taken towards continuing and reviving that legacy. Dr. Rania Awaad describes what efforts need to be done to address mental health needs in Islamic society.

Every Muslim brethren must realize that Islam stands directly against Yahweh, the God of Abraham! Islam stands against Jehovah God and His Chosen People Israel! Please read the 2500 old prophecy recorded in Bible, getting fulfilled right before our eyes, in last 75 years! No wonder, 7 million Jews prevail against 1800 million Muslims! Ezekiel 36:24-27 24 “‘I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you to your land. 25 I will sprinkle pure water over you and you will be clean from all you uncleanness; I will purify you from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; I will remove the heart of stone from your body and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put my spirit within you, and I will make you walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances, and you will do them” Ezekiel 11:17-20 17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. 18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh; 20 that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. Whereas Allah hates Israel and wants its total destruction in the end hour! Sahih Muslim 2922 Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews. حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ - عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ الْيَهُودَ فَيَقْتُلُهُمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ حَتَّى يَخْتَبِئَ الْيَهُودِيُّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحَجَرِ وَالشَّجَرِ فَيَقُولُ الْحَجَرُ أَوِ الشَّجَرُ يَا مُسْلِمُ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ هَذَا يَهُودِيٌّ خَلْفِي فَتَعَالَ فَاقْتُلْهُ ‏.‏ إِلاَّ الْغَرْقَدَ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْيَهُودِ ‏"‏ ‏ Reference : Sahih Muslim 2922 In-book reference : Book 54, Hadith 103, USC-MSA (English) web reference : Book 41, Hadith 6985. Above verses from Jehovah God, the God of Abraham, the God of Israel, the One and Only True Creator God of universe, is clearly in favor of His Chosen People, Israel! In all those verses God stands with His people! Whereas Allah stands directly against Jehovah God and His nation, Israel!

It's an online program accredited by Gambia. You can pursue this degree to have a grasp of Islamic Psychology as most of the instructors give lectures from Islamic Perspective. Hope it helps. Malaysia is an islamic psychology hub! A lot of great researchers and groundbreaking research in Islamic psychology comes from there. Check out IIUM as I believe they offer psychology degrees etc.
