Another advice for the brother: When you study the sunnah, analyze how our beloved prophet (saw) talked to the (young) people. It is not „do it when you are young“ or „try it out“ (in the sense of: follow your desire to understand the consequences) but rather gave practical advice to avoid/get rid of it. Like fasting when a young guy asked for the permission of adultery. And analyze the language of arabic sheikhs. They speak eloquent and beautiful about these topics. People beglect that so much how to address things. There is sunnah in it, too.

I don’t understand why people are obsessed about the beard when this brother is speaking very wisely and eloquently despite his young age. What’s wrong guys?! He has some beard, khalas! Try to learn some knowledge instead of obsessing over the length of someone’s beard. Jews are obsessed with every single detail of their rituals and they made it unliveable! Relax!
@yassersharif16 күн бұрын
Assalamualaykum I just want to say that, you are correct in saying that people should listen to his wisdom, but I think it shouldn't have been put in comparison with the beard. Listening to the wisdom is a separate issue. And the beard is a separate issue. The beard is the Sunna of the holy Prophet SWS and should be adhered to. There is much value In it. But I think we should have the ability to acknowledge that there is something lacking or that it could've been better, and yet at the same time learn for the wisdom. Because the absence of a Sunna is not equal to the falsehood of a statement. In fact there is no connection. So the judgement that he is wrong based on the absence of the beard is a fallacy. But yet, one should still be able to encourage the brother that, your beautiful words could have been so much more beautiful if it were accompanied with the beautiful sunna

Go for yourself. Do not take his word. Seeing cockroaches is not equivalent to dirt. And when it „smell“ in the hot region it can be just sweating as he mentioned the harsh heat. This is westernized arrogant mindset. I have roots in north africa. The houses are clean, cockroaches are still there. Same in spain, same in japan. It is a simple life style, no stone age life style, which is climate friendly, and that can be very healing as he admitted it in contrast to the hustle and fitna loaded life style in the UK. This is the result why they are so rich in knowledge. There is wisdom behind it even when you cannot grab it.

13:18 What does he mean no barakah in time?
@SunnyCoding-cp5bh16 күн бұрын
The way he described it was not appropiate. Time has nothing to do with the voluntary masses of tasks you commit your time. He means UK is a hustle culture. Being busy or distracted with things which take him away from reaching his religious goals in terms of knowledge and whatever he sees for him is important.

Why was the place he studied in not clean? Cleanliness is half of faith. I did not understand that.
@SunnyCoding-cp5bh16 күн бұрын
He insulted their life style. When you live in these countries it is normal that cockroaches appear. Even in morocco we have this issue for decades and it is clean. In spain the same, in japan the same. I am very very sorry but it is more like arrogance rooted from western country living people. Say this to Mekkah. They have sometimes seasons of cockcroach looking insects. Is that dirty? What does dirty mean? Because at the same time he put it in synonyme with back in old times… They have simplicity. That is all. I personally love that more than the industrial life style. And if it is „not“ clean than he could support them and change something because he talked about giving something back.
@arrayvector17 күн бұрын
Living in a dirty place can not be the right thing because our prophet pbuh mentioned the importance of inner and outer cleanliness.
@SunnyCoding-cp5bh16 күн бұрын
The way he described it does not really define dirtyness. He seemed not to be happy that they do not have all the luxury he knows from the UK. Ask any north african in Europe they will say the opposite about these countries including me. The knowledge does not come from nowhere in mauretania. I have seen cockroaches in spain, morocco and japan. It has nothing to do with dirt. You may can say that about flies. They come for dirt but then you can see what they are crazy about. He will be surprised when the season of black cockroach-looking like insects will invade medinah after rainy days. Is that dirt?

„Do it when you are young“ a3udhubillah! Teaching people means not „try it out to find out“. Teaching people means preventing them from doing it by informing them! When my parents told me it is harmful and just by observing people who are doing that stuff it was already clear dor me what it causes in ling term. I do not need to try it out. Please do not promote this type of dawah. I believe you did not mean it that way but words should be carefully chosen.
