I love this series and have watched it several time. The first time years ago when it came on PBS. Now I love watching it because I think I heard that this was Sam’s first tv acting job after drama school. He is so good in this! The only problem I have with the whole production is that Sam’s name is not in the credits and I don’t understand because his character is so essential to the story. Thank you for posting it. I hope more people watch.

I, too had watched it many years ago on PBS (US Public Broadcasting System). Watched again after trying to find more of Sam's other projects after discovering him on Outlander. Heard a long time ago that it only had one year because the writer had died. Would have been good for a more years. He was so young, maybe 23-24.

Hi, 9/1/2021 if you want to know about how life was under the German occupation, this drama, is a good starting point. There's also another, maybe better called " Enemy at the door" produced by LWT in the late 1970s. It was on KZbin, However, with such old good dramas, you might have to Pay, . The series is on Together tv on freeview on a Sunday night at 9 pm. I think theres a few episodes left to watch . Hope this
