In the beginning that looks exactly like the helicopter tour i was on down there with the montains and the waterfalls. Good video shows the landscape of this island very well.

I used to sail past the Napali Coast weekly when I was en engineer for American Hawaii Cruises on the S.S. Independence. I must have seen it 100 times and yet was blown away each time I saw it as if I were seeing it for the first time. Great video.

Hawaii, one of the most pure places still left on earth. The entire state as just magnificently beautiful and Kauai is just perfect. Could it be better? If I were to have to choose one place to be happy and live my life it would be Kauai. Everything about it seems perfect. It's not infested with industrialized factories or constant cities every 10 miles you go you can just lay back and enjoy its wholeness.

That's Tunnels Beach on the north shore. Great snorkling and diving site during the summer months but not so much during the winter. During our winter months surf can get up to 60+ft.

fantastic video.... the north shore of Kauai and Hanalei Bay in particular are my favourite part of the Hawaiian islands! One thing I noticed in your time lapse segments was that the clouds seemed to be moving in the wrong direction... very odd to see them moving north and west.

Hanalei Bay is, indeed, one of the most beautiful in the world. I am also a huge fan of Honopu Valley in the North Shore. King Kong chased Jessica Lange here. Also love Lunahai Beach. The island also has the best rental properties anywhere in Hawaii. Some amazing condos and houses to rent. Take a look at Kauai Vacation Rentals on their Facebook page.

Very nice photography. Whats up with that hole at 0:40? Also, in your experiences, would you happen to know if Honolulu/Pearl City trails are cycle and running friendly? A lot of the videos I have seen would seem to have fairly uneven terrain. Cool for mountain biking but rough for running.

This is beautiful I've done Oahu a few times, but never done an island hop to the other Hawaiian islands. I will next time I'm there though, I can't decide between Maui or Kauai? I think Kauai has won now lol.

First of all NICE VIDEO! Interesting that the thumbnail/ 1:05 is now known as Kilauea Falls; when I was growing up there (in Kilauea) Kilauea Falls, the one in "South Pacific", was the one on the same river but hear Kilauea School.

Answers to some questions posted here: Camera, Sony EX1r The Aerial is Manawaiopuna Falls, which is the "Jurassic Park" waterfall. The next waterfall is Wailua Falls, used in "Fanasty Island" the TV show At 2:21 is Hanalei Bay, one of the most beautiful places on this planet. Thank you for all of your comments!

2:05 is one of the many caves that dot Na Pali coast, there's a couple that have waterfall's. You forgot Kalalau Valley and Spouting Horn, damne I miss Kauai :(

How does one drop everything up, pick up and move to an island in Hawaii, I'm highly considering moving to Kaui; I just don't really know how to go about doing so.
