Love your show, I just wanted to say the owners of the Mets don't own Barclays. Brooklyn sports and entertainment own it, they also own the Nassau colesuem. The owners the Mets are in real estate and signed a deal with the Islanders to help with construction. Keep up the good work GO ISLE'S!!!!!!!

There's no way the MTA (metropolitan transit authority) will be able to justify an subway extension to Belmont from Jamaica without a very significant amount of private money. The subway system is extremely broke at the moment and previous efforts to introduce private money (the 7 train extension to the Hudson yards development) have been over budget and late, not to mention every other subway construction project that has been undergone in the past 20 years. Right now they are overburdened with the second avenue subway in Manhattan, the east side access project to bring the LIRR main line to grand central terminal, the reconstruction of Penn Station, the replacement of the systemwide signaling system which is falling apart and causing delays in record numbers, and the repair of the east river canarsie tube which was damaged by hurricane sandy in 2012 and still has not been repaired. Maybe in our lifetimes a subway extension from Jamaica center to Belmont Park will be open for discussion, but I don't think we will even see such a thing get past the drawing board for 30 years. Happy though that the arena in Belmont will be very good for fans traveling by car from further out in long Island.

Post2Post Maybe - the project would likely total in the hundreds of millions and they can't afford to fund the whole extension, but I do think it would be smart in the long term for Malkin and Ledecky to contribute something - like maybe 20 million - to that total in order to incentivize the politicians to do it. Malkin and Ledecky don't strike me as the most brilliant businessmen, though.

Your ranking of Nhl logos with the Oilers at #28 has made me tune you fellas out. Storied franchise with a classic logo and beautiful colour palate coming in at #28 ? Wow ! I've NEVER seen a list with the oiler logo ranked any lower than 16th. In fact 90% OF the time the logo makes top 10 and I'd say 40-50% top 5 !! I've enjoyed many of your videos but now IM OUT !! Flames logo ranked higher when it has absolutely no originality and was just carried over from Atlanta. Where the Flames nickname actually had a story to tell in Atlanta. But not in Calgary. Brutal absolutely horrendous call guys. Ya it's all for fun but CMON GET REAL !! Many non Edmonton fans recognize the beauty of that CLASSIC oiler logo. Give your heads a shake fellas. MSG is located literally in the most dense city in North America, which you already know, so the Rangers will never have attendance issues. Have you done any research on the population center in Newark/North New Jersey? How about The New Jersey Transit stop located just yards/meters away from the almost new Prudential Center? They are a very good team this year, in prime location, and are 26th in the league in attendance. Do you dislike the message, or the messenger? In your estimation, what would qualify a teams fan base to be a joke? Personally, I think their empty arenas make them look bad, my expressing the truth is not the issue.

New York City is literally my favorite city in the entire world. The Rangers are midway down my list of teams and by no means hate them. The Islanders are above them, and New Jersey is below, as far as personal preference. While I understand your attendance issue and statement towards those two other franchises, I don't think that quantifies them to be even close to a "joke". I guess I just don't share the same feelings when it comes to my favorite teams rivals. For example if Toronto was having attendance issues, I wouldn't feel like they were a joke, I would want them to do better so the rivalry would be able to continue. The Islanders leaving would be such a loss for the Rangers, just on a rivalry stand point. I was just disappointed with how you worded your feelings as I felt they were a little too harsh towards the Islanders and their fans.

First off Eric, The Rangers have been around a lot longer, so they have a bigger fan base! Also they produce a lot of corporate fans going to the games, which helps attendance! WHAT IS A JOKE, IS THAT THE RANGERS, DESPITE THERE OBVIOUS ADAVANTAGE, HAVE WON ONE STANLEY CUP IN 77 YEARS!
