I’ve loved these IoM films as I had an aunt who lived there and was taken twice to stay with her as a very small child, but then she died before I was three and I haven’t been back since. I have very dim memories and a few b/w photos of the steam trains, Laxey Wheel and some very sunny beaches. My parents used to talk about Lacey and Groudle Glen a lot. You’ve brought it all to life for me! Thank you. I WILL visit myself. Maybe next summer.
